Don’t hold your breath waiting for Lil Wayne’s Rebirth. The rapper’s oft-delayed album is coming…when it’s ready. “I was inspired by the movie Dune. The collection had all these jackets that were very padded. They looked like maybe they had hockey pads in the jacket, and there was one where the collar came up really high. I took that element, and I put that on the back of the shoe. It’s like the opposite of the tongue. Usually you have the tongue at the front. [This is] like a tongue at the back.”
Ludacris Debuts New Cognac In France Rap star Lucacris was in France this week debuting his new Cognac at the Vinexpo event. Ludacris arrived in style in a chauffeur-driven Bentley and posed with a bevy of beauties dressed in identical black dresses. Ludacris worked with Birkedal Hartmann, a Norwegian-owned Cognac producer to create Conjure, which debuted in Norway in July and then here in the U.S. in the fall. The Grammyaward-winning rapper says that he went to the Cognac region in France to help create the spirit. He worked with Birkedal Hartmann's master blender, Philippe Braastad Tiffon choosing more than 40 different brandies to create the blend. Decanter reports that while Cognac usually has a grade such as VO (very old) or VS (very special) on the bottle, Conjure is ungraded because it mixes several different grades. The bottle design includes a print which is composed of naked female silhouettes. The cognac will sell for $34.
Bridges is not new to entrepreneurial ventures. The Atlanta-based philanthropist, who supports arts and educational programmes for children as well as back-to-school operations that provide new book-bags and haircuts, also owns a successful local restaurant, Straits. “It’s not just me attaching my name to it,” said the soft-spoken Bridges. “Whenever I involve myself in a business, I submerge myself in it.”
Ludacris said that his favorite drink is Cognanc and Coke which makes me think this Cognac will skew to the sweet side. Birkedal Hartmann currently ships 400,000 bottles of cognac a year but with Ludacris on the team hopes to sell a million cases. Other musicians including Snoop Dogg, Swiss Beatz and Dr. Dre have also entered the Cognac business, adding interest to a drink category that has been seeing decreasing sales recently.
The 10 Things Every Model Should Know Modeling started off as a hobby and is now becoming a career for me. I get to travel and work some of the best photographers in the industry. However, when I first started modeling, it took a lot of determination. I started from the ground up and had to learn all the basics. Modeling is not the easiest thing to do. Its very competitive because everyone is trying to become a model. So for those that are aspiring models, here are the top ten things I have learned. 1.) Building a solid portfolio is very important. Your portfolio should show your range as model. For example, it should include a variety of styles from glamour, fashion, swimsuit, catalog etc. 2.) Always act professional at a photo shoot. You don't want to gain a reputation as a difficult or unreliable model. 3.) I like to pick up magazines and look at the models poses. I can then practice these poses myself. 4.) Comp cards are a great thing to have and are often required at auditions. 5.) Join a networking website for models. It will give you an opportunity to meet and collaborate with photographers, makeup artists, fashion designers etc. 6.) Joining an agency will give you access to more jobs and can help you get establish as a model. 7.) Your skin is extremely important, so take good care of it. Avoid smoking or drinking alcohol. 8.) Develop a solid runway and work with a coach if needed. 9.) Studying models like Namoi Campbell, Tyra Banks and Heidi Klum, as help me become a better model. 10.) Never give up, no matter how much rejection you may encounter. One day you will get a yes! Modeling is not a easy thing to do. After going to countless castings, I have come to realized this. No matter how hard it may be, I truly enjoy it. Some of the most famous models in the world , had to deal with the same problems. If they had given up, they never would have never obtain the level of success, that they have now. So I keep that in mind and stay focus on developing as a model.

How did you first get started in modeling? Well when I was about 21 my mom heard a radio cattle so I went in. I didn’t love it too much at 1st but now I don’t see myself doing anything else What are your biggest assets as a model? I’m a big goof , and while some one would maybe see it as bad. Some of my best shots come from my bloopers. Tell me what makes you sexy? Sexy is having confidence in yourself. Doesn’t matter if your in lingerie or sweats if your confidant people are naturally drawn to you.
What are some of the projects you’ve had a chance to be apart of? Right now I’m involved in 2 calendars one for Pure, the other is for Bramblet Productions, I hopefully have another one coming but that is still in the making. Those are the things right now that I’m excited about. With all the shoots you’ve done, which ones have been your most memorable? Oh gosh Julian Wilde will alwase be one of my favs. The space, him and his wife where amazing. And then there was shooting with Elluma because I was outside half naked in January. What part of your body are you most complimented on? It depends on the gender if girls are giving the complaments its my tummy, if boys are its usual my lips. If there’s one piece of advice you could give a guy before makes a move, what would it be? Don’t be nervous I dont bite. just come up and say hi. no lines ive heard them all. Tell us something about you your mom probably doesn’t want to know? sadly this part is pretty boring .. mom knows everything To make 2009 a prefect year for you, what goals have you set? To stop setting gols and loosen up. im kind of hard on myself sometimes so it would be nice to be able to just relex a bit.

What’s the biggest misconception people may have about you? That I’m mean. I’m not at all. Just don’t let people walk over me. What’s separates you as a model? I’m tiny but I’m mighty. I don’t let me not being 5"11 slow me down, and I’m very professional but still know how to make a shoot fun. I’ve observed that a lot of girls don’t know how to fine a middle between those.

Guests at aloft hotels will instead enjoy sweet, savory and healthy foods such as fresh fruit, custom coffee drinks and freshly made sandwiches. After the workday is done, guests and in-the-know locals will unwind at w xyz, aloft’s destination bar. Designed as rival to the BMW 5-Series and Mercedes E-Class, the XF takes a sportier approach -- with a lower roofline and more aggressive stance. It comes standard with fender vents and a bulging hood that add to this perception. Replacing the aging S-Type early next year, the XF is based on the C-XF Concept car, with considerably less dramatic headlights and a tamer exterior. Engineering limitations are said to have made the C-XF's headlights impossible to bring to production in a cost effective manner, but look for cat-like eyes on the next-generation XJ, which Jaguar designers say will be more daring than the XF.

The XF is offered wither either 300 horsepower or 420 horsepower -- the former from a 4.2 liter V8 and the latter from a supercharged version of that mill. Roughly five inches longer than the old S-Type, the 195-inch XF provides ample room for five adults, despite its coupe-like roof. The X's waistline rises to meet the roof rather than the roof coming down to meet the waist -- a design trick that improves interior space. All XFs come standard with “surprise and delight� air-conditioning vents, which present a flush dashboard surface until the ignition is switched on, at which point they rotate to the open position. Another new technology -- JaguarSense -- introduces touch-actvated interior lights and glovebox release.
Every level of the audio system features at least eight speakers plus subwoofer, with a premium system designed in association with highly respected audio specialists Bowers & Wilkins available on range topping models. Radio options now include Sirius Satellite Radio, while the XF technology count includes Bluetooth communications technology, plus standard iPod and MP3 player connectivity with full-function control through the touch-screen, and an auxiliary port for other portable audio devices. Standard features include Automatic Speed Limiter, Tire Pressure Monitoring System, Electronic Parking Brake and more. Other available features include JaguarVoice control to operate audio and telephone functions, Blind Spot Monitor, Front and Rear Parking Aids and Rear Camera Parking Aid, and Adaptive Cruise Control. The 2009 XF is priced starting at $49,975 MSRP for the 300 hp V8 Luxury model. The V8 Premium Luxury XF has a base MSRP of $55,975. A Supercharged XF with its 420 horsepower engine retails for $62,975 MSRP. The two entry-level models are priced nearly identically to the S-Type 3.0 and S-Type 4.2 models they replace. In the case of the V8 Luxury, it offers a 65 horsepower advantage over the S-Type 3.0. As for the V8 Premium Luxury model, it costs $600 less than the S-Type 4.2, offering roughly the same engine in a considerably more competitive package. The Supercharged XF costs a whopping $2,000 less than the S-Type R it replaces. It also delivers 20 more horsepower. Of course, and XF-R is on the way for a considerably higher premium, but at 500 horsepower it will not be comparable to the old S-Type R.

Based on the Murcielago sports car, the Reventon is said to be inspired by the F-22 Raptor fighter jet. Recent reports indicate the car will cost nearly $1.6 million -- significantly above the Murcielago $300,000 MSRP. In fact, anyone who wants the car has been asked to put down a deposit of nearly that amount. The engine hood made of glass laminate with open ventilation slits offering a glimpse at the large 6.5-liter V12 engine. The Reventon delivers 650 horsepower and 487 pound-feet of torque. Lamborghini will only build 20 Reventons, with all being spoken for. Eleven of the 20 cars will be U.S.-bound. The headlights are powerful Bi-Xenon units. The daytime running lights consists of seven LEDs per side and a further nine diodes for the indicator and hazard lights. The taillights are also LED-based.

Created using Alcantara, carbon fiber, aluminium and leather, the interior is inspired by modern aircraft cockpits. Three LCD screens feature a variety of readouts useful to the driver. The instruments are housed in a structure milled from a solid aluminium block, protected by a carbon fibre casing. The G-Force-Meter is also completely new: this display shows the dynamic drive forces, longitudinal acceleration during acceleration and braking, as well as transversal acceleration around bends. These forces are represented by the movement of an indicator on a graduated 3D grid depending on the direction and intensity of the acceleration. A similar instrument can be found in the airplanes. Formula One teams also use a similar device to analyze dynamic forces.
