From April through October, Plowboy Produce provides the venue for auctions whereby bidders can vie for locally grown goods. Auctions take place at 1p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays Spring and Fall consignment auctions for furniture and goods also take place annually.

In the region of south central Tennessee, we find five distilleries that form an integral part of the Tennessee Whiskey Trail: Jack Daniel Distillery in Lynchburg, Cascade Hollow Distilling Company in Normandy, Nearest Green Distillery in Shelbyville, Big Machine Distillery in Lynnville and Prichard's Distillery in Kelso.

Jack Daniel Distillery, where our journey starts, is more than just a whiskeymaking behemoth — it is a symbol of Tennessee's spirit Successfully making and selling whiskey for over 150 years is a tribute to the character and quality of the people who make Jack Daniel’s whiskey. A guided tour through the distillery grounds is a step back in time, offering a glimpse into the art of whiskeymaking as it was in the 1860s

A short drive away is the Cascade Hollow Distilling Company, home to George Dickel Tennessee Whisky. This place offers a distinct blend of quiet charm and excellent whiskey Nestled in the hills of Normandy between Shelbyville and Tullahoma, the folks here abide by traditional methods, resulting in whiskey that’s handcrafted with great pride

Then, there’s the Nearest Green Distillery, a tribute to the enslaved man who taught Jack Daniel how to make whiskey. The distillery, located in Shelbyville highlights the story that brings to light an essential but often overlooked figure in Tennessee whiskey history The Humble Baron is the world’s longest bar at 518 feet.
