DAY 1: Join trip in Anchorage.

DAY 2: Drive to Valdez, on the Prince William Sound.

DAY 3: Visit the waterfalls of Keystone Canyon. Drive to McCarthy past spectacular rivers and glaciers.

DAY 4: Spot wildlife while walking amid the towering mountains of Wrangell-St. Elias National Park.

DAY 5: Free day. Hike, whitewater raft or take a scenic flight for stunning aerial views of the national park.

DAY 6: Head across tundra and past glacial lakes to Tangle Lakes. See magnificent views of Denali.

DAYS 7–8: Hike the park trails in Denali National Park, a great place to try and spot grizzly bear and caribou.

DAY 9: Demonstration of the Denali National Park's sled dogs. Drive to the old mining town of Talkeetna.

DAY 10: Travel through the mountainous landscapes of Hatcher's Pass and visit the famous gold mine.

DAYS 11–12: Discover the glaciers, birdlife and whale of the Kenai Fjords National Park. Opt to take a cruise around the fjords.

DAY 13: Return to Anchorage via Moose Pass and the Chugach Forest.

DAY 14: Trip ends in Anchorage.
