Simple scary leaves

With beautiful woodland walks to be had in the autumn, there are many large leaves to find. Pick a few up and head home to paint some spooky designs. If you want to hang your designs, you’ll need leaves with stems on.

Make sure your leaves are nice and dry.

Give the leaves a good coating of white or orange paint, allow to dry and paint the other side. Apply a second coat if needed.

Once dry, use black paint or a black pen to draw a ghostly face or some pumpkin features.

Tie some string to the stem and hang outside or wherever you like.

You can also stick your leaves on some paper to create a spooky picture.
