Our area is the home to unique attractions, local restaurants, 70 miles of recreational trails, art and music festivals, concerts, live theater, and major sporting events that entertain residents and visitors throughout the year.
OUR LOCATION Sioux City is a geographical marvel. At the intersection of Iowa, Nebraska and South Dakota, it boasts a historic winding river, hiking and bluffs, and a Loess Hills scenic byway unlike any in the world. What’s more, with a thriving arts community and an ethnically diverse restaurant scene, there is something for every explorer.
SPORTS SCENE For its size, Sioux City boasts some of the best sporting facilities in the country, with multiple state-of-the-art venues within the area. Chief among them is the Fleet Farm Arena at Tyson Events Center, which regularly hosts home games for local hockey and indoor football teams, as well as NAIA tournaments for wrestling, volleyball and basketball.

UNITED SPORTS ACADEMY Located in the CNOS Fieldhouse in North Sioux City, the United Sports Academy opened in 2019 and is a 56,000 square foot multi-sport training and competition space featuring: • 20,000 Square Foot Turf Area • 3 Batting Cages • 2 HitTrax Hitting Simulators • 4 College Basketball Courts • 4 College Volleyball Courts • 8 Youth Basketball Courts • 8 Youth Volleyball Courts • 4 Pickleball Courts

SIOUXLAND EXPO CENTER As a fully indoor venue with concession areas and locker rooms, the Siouxland Expo Center can accommodate tournaments and competitions. On-site turf can be rolled out to a full-size soccer or football field, and other activities possible in the facility include baseball, softball, volleyball, basketball, wrestling, band and dance.
