DRIDOWN™

DriDown™ is natural down insulation treated with a molecular level polymer, creating a hydrophobic finish on individual down plumes. All Sierra Designs apparel down is DriDown™ and the result is insulation that stays dry longer, lofts better, and dries faster than untreated down.

Primaloft™ Eco Silver insulation provides robust warmth, packability, and comfort in layering for all activities.

Recycled Fabrics

Utilizing post-consumer and factory discards, Sierra Designs uses recycled materials for insulation and exterior fabrics in apparel, preventing waste from going into landfills and decreasing manufacturing pollution.

Upf Treatment

UPF Treatments increase the ability of our fabrics to block the sun’s harmful UV radiation from reaching your skin. We create UPF protection by adding special chemistry to the yarn itself, by altering the weight/density of the fabric’s construction or by adding a topical chemical treatment to the fabric. Each garment is rigorously tested to meet strict UPF rating guidelines.
