The Heber Springs Area Chamber of Commerce celebrated their local businesses at their 67th Annual Banquet. Everyone gathered at the Barn at Fawn Hollow for a fun night filled with mingling, food, live auction, and awards. This year, Molly’s Ransom entertained guests as they played covers of songs ranging in all genres.

Keith McHan, who serves as Market President of First State Bank in Heber Springs, was inducted into the Hall of Honor, for his service to his community. Keith has maintained an active positive influence in the community by his civic involvement and service in many community leadership positions. Although his professional life keeps him busy, Keith enjoys hunting and other outdoor activities in his free time. But by far, Keith’s most important role has been that of husband of 12 years to Ronda, father to Meghan, Lindsey and Leah, father-inlaw to Billy and Patrick and proud grandpa to

State Representative Josh Miller gave out the Citizen of the Year award to Jeffrey James, a citizen with outstanding character. Mr. James works to guide and improves the lives of youth in the community through his leadership of Heber Springs Young Life. He sits on many boards in the community and also serves as a volunteer firefighter and first responder for the Pine Snag/Lobo Fire Department.

Volunteer of the Year was given to Tina Moore, who goes above and beyond to give their time to volunteer in many different capacities. She currently serves as a member and officer of Cleburne County Rotary, Board Member for Cleburne County Cares, Board Member for Cleburne County Community Foundation and, an active member of New Life Church.
