TONY WENDORF’S ROLE as a top realtor has been cultivated with a true passion for his work and a relentless pursuit of the highest level of satisfaction and care of his clients. At Tony Wendorf & Associates First Weber Realtors, located at 2750A Golf Road in Delafield, Wendorf strives to offer homebuyers and sellers an experience that is both exceptional and client-focused, and his success is reflected in his extensive community of satisfied customers.
Wendorf’s initial career as a licensed doctoral-level psychologist offered him insights that he ontinues to draw upon to guide his work as a realtor. Building unwavering trust in each client relationship is one of the foundations of Wendorf’s philosophy. “Our clients will never feel the pressure to purchase a property unless it works for them,” Wendorf explained. “We have built trust by working strictly in their best interest, rather than to simply sell a home. The
research we do before, during and after [a transaction] give[s] our clients an advantage to win. When our clients see the difference, it creates immediate trust,” Wendorf noted.
One way that Wendorf and his team work to create a climate of trust is by maintaining an ongoing, open dialogue with clients throughout the process of buying and selling a home. “We have a regular touch point on a weekly basis,” Wendorf stated. “Additionally, we have an operations director and transaction manager who help manage deadlines and other contingencies.” Wendorf thoughtfully steers the process, always with his clients’ best interests in mind. “Any negotiation, marketing or pricing strategy comes directly from me and is done collaboratively with our clients to help make sure we help them reach their goal,” Wendorf emphasized.
The Tony Wendorf team of realtors consistently builds and facilitates
relationships with clients that allow optimal transactions and customer satisfaction. “We regularly will partner with our clients to get the deal to the closing line,” Wendorf explained. “Many times that includes us providing a financial consideration to the deal to Continued on page 18

Outside of real estate, I enjoy spending time with my wife and three children. I am very active in our faith community, and enjoy leading an active lifestyle. I enjoy traveling and love sports of all kind, specifically golf and football. My favorite golf course is the Legend at Brandybrook even though that 8th hole beats me up quite often! Love going to Bucks, Brewers, Packers and Badgers games with my wife and kids. My favorite sports memory is the Green Bay Packers winning the super bowl in the 1996/97 season with the Ole Gunslinger, Brett Favre. We like also dining out, especially the fish fries at the 5 O’clock Club in Pewaukee – it’s outstanding! 262-719-0676. twendorf@firstweber.com
My favorite thing about my career as a realtor is helping people navigate a pivotal life change/transition. I believe that going out of my way to help others and having a servant’s heart is the richest and most meaningful way to live. I also love hiking at state parks, cycling the Glacial Drumlin bike trail, and going for walks along the Milwaukee lakefront. My favorite adventurous spots to vacation are Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming and Glacier National Park in Montana. I hope to visit all 63 national parks in the United States; I’ve traveled throughout the country and viewed incredible landscapes, but I’ll always consider Wisconsin home. Nothing beats Midwest summers with friends and family! 262-347-7337. lindsey.bendler@firstweber.com
2.5-bath,
I love the unique aspects of my career as a realtor—helping people find their perfect home, as well as the variety— no two transactions are identical! My career allows me to learn and grow; I feel so fortunate to be supported by the amazing First Weber Inc. brokerage and the incredible Tony Wendorf and Associates team. I love spending time with my friends and family—my husband Matt, our son Beckham, and two dogs. We’re excited to be welcoming our second son in June! I treasure our annual visits to the white sand beaches of Sanibel and Marco Islands in Florida, as well as to NYC and upstate New York to visit my in-laws. Locally, we enjoy attending festivals in the summer and trying new restaurants. 414-254-9910 or by email, tmangini@firstweber.com.
I am a mother of 4 busy children and 2 dogs. Having worked in the service industry for over 20 years, I’ve grown passionate with helping people on a personal level. I now bring with me the valuable skills and experiences I’ve acquired into the real estate world. Choosing a real estate agent is an important decision and I would love to help make the process as smooth and stress free as possible. I look forward to work everyday by helping people meet and exceed their home buying and selling goals. Please let me know how I can help you! Communication is my key to success, rooted in faith and respect for others. My career core is helping people. My Sicilian grandfather, father and uncles inspired my passion for helping others. Working in their culinary business, I treated every customer like family. Later, after a 27-year detective career, I wanted a new challenge that would allow me to continue helping others. As a realtor, I combine my people skills, negotiation expertise, and knowledge of Southeast Wisconsin to guide clients through one of their most important decisions. My wife and children are my greatest support and inspiration. I cherish time with them, watching sports events, and traveling. 414-559-7329. sal.alioto@firstweber.com
I started my career in real estate with Tony Wendorf. After a time working for my own successful team full-time, Before I worked in realty, I was a high school science teacher for eight years, where I taught AP Chemistry, Biology, and robotics. I met my husband in an organic chemistry lab course—we were lab partners. We are the proud parents of four children; I devote much of my free time to them and their sports and activities. I grew up in the lake country and was fortunate to live by the water, where I continue to reside today. I enjoy the fish fry at the Bark River Yacht Club in Dousman. I love summertime for the opportunities it offers to garden and enjoy my favorite water sports.! 262-719-4410.

I love to share clients’ excitement when they finalize a sale. I’ve been in residential real estate for 11 years and thankful to be part of the Wendorf team. Outside of work, I love watching the Packers play at Lambeau Field; my favorite sports memory is the Packers’ 1997 Super Bowl. I really enjoy golfing. I’ve been fortunate to play some great courses like Whistling Straits and Erin Hills. My love of golf and passion for helping those battling cancer come together in August, when I host my annual Protect the Package Golf Outing. Visit Protectthepackage.com to read more and register. My most cherished memory is a 2022 visit to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor with my wife Becky and our children. 262-894-3996.

As team transaction manager, I step in once we receive an accepted offer. I enjoy being the liaison between our clients and business partners and work with each agent to ensure we keep each transaction on track for a smooth closing.I have an accounting degree and spent over 15 years in the investment management industry working in various project management-related roles prior to joining the team.I enjoy spending time with my husband, Mark, and three children. We have fun attending my daughter’s club volleyball tournaments. I also love visiting Florida, Hawaii and the National Parks with my family. We enjoy living in Waukesha on the edge of the city where we experience a unique blend of nature and wildlife while also being close to many conveniences.
Continued from page 15 keep it together and moving forward. We always are filled with gratitude for our clients so when we have the opportunity to do that, we get excited and are proud to be in a position to do that.”
Personally, Wendorf attributes some of his success to his efficiency, but noted that this must always be paired with an ongoing awareness of his clients’ goals, time frames and budgets. “I simply move faster than others,” Wendorf noted. “We have built a team with substantial bench strength and depth that allow[s] us to serve our clients based on their schedule–not ours. We are relentless in the pursuit of winning for our clients and their win is our win.”
Wendorf applies a balanced approach to his pursuit of success, noting that emotional highs and lows must be tempered to achieve optimal results in the real estate industry. “My role is to be the calming factor in a transaction—which for those who know my energy and passion might be hard to believe. That said, I tell my team regularly, there is no room in real estate for emotion—not on our end, anyway. Managing emotions and being able to never get too high or too low is critical to success in this industry. Also, strong emotional intelligence has always served us well when connecting with other clients and agents within our industry,” Wendorf explained.
Looking ahead to the coming year, Tony Wendorf anticipates another very strong year for real estate. In particular, he noted that he continues to “see distressed homes fly off the market.” He commented that investors rapidly purchase, then fix up and resell these homes. He summarized that the market has in general been strong, “but under 400k has been exceptionally stellar for many years;” and he expects that “it will continue to be a strong market in 2025.”
or have an expert negotiator on the buyer side, we are here to help.”
Tony Wendorf and his team offer exceptional services and skills to every client, with an aim of continuing to nurture this thriving culture. Wendorf explained, “We will continue to grow our team, our brand, and penetrate the market by providing exceptional service from the very first phone call until well after the deal is closed. We continue to create strategic partnerships and set systems and processes in place to best serve our clients. The sky is the limit for this team.”
By continually placing his clients’ needs first, Wendorf and his realty team have created a positive cycle of reciprocal benefits for everyone involved. “I have learned that the more [I] help others grow, the more I personally grow,” he explained. “Investing into other people is the greatest thing you can do in this field. When others’ success and goals become your own—you grow!”
Wendorf has funneled his immense energy and enthusiasm, in his words, into “developing a culture where we are creating raving fans.” His diligence and attention to every detail are reflected in his work as a realtor, and in his agency, which is full-service. “We…don’t pass along costs of cleaning your home, media, marketing, etc…We take care of all of that,” Wendorf said. “We simply invest more into our business—and ultimately our clients, than our competition. We help our listings stand out above the rest and move more quickly on the buyer side as well to help them win.”
Wendorf stressed the importance of selecting and working with an experienced full-service realty agent. “We have continued to see clients that choose to work with the cheapest realtor continue to lose money. There is a massive difference between saving the most amount of money versus making (walking away with) the most amount of money,” Wendorf said. He advised that anyone choosing an agent ask many questions and thoroughly interview potential agents. “Not all agents are created equal and neither are net proceeds or purchase prices either,” Wendorf explained. “If you want to make the most amount of money on a sale
For homebuyers or for those looking to sell, Tony Wendorf & Associates at First Weber Realtors offer the highest-quality array of services, consistently placing client satisfaction as their top priority. Of his clients, Wendorf concluded, “We don’t want to [simply] meet their expectations, but roll out the red carpet for each and every client we serve. We want them to walk away mind-blown at the service and value they received. We have always gone over the top to provide things that 99.9 percent [of] other agents don’t provide.”
Tony Wendorf’s personal values infuse the momentum of his realty company and his daily work. He stated that “never being content” serves as a driving force in his quest for continued achievement in his field, one that revolves around a focus on the satisfaction of those he serves. He concluded, “We are always filled with gratitude and have an abundance mindset but always are looking for ways to get better and stay ahead of the industry.” n

Contemporary trends in the automobile industry offer exciting opportunities for diverse buyers to enjoy new technology as well as upgrades to design and safety features. John Pentler, General Manager at the Uptown Automotive Group, located on Mayfair Road in Wauwatosa, and Kristen Boucher, Sales and Marketing Director at The Boucher Automotive Group in Waukesha, which operates 31 and counting locations across Southeastern Wisconsin, shared their insights into the newest developments.
IN GENERAL, PENTLER NOTED that while styles evolve across the industry, crossovers, SUVs and trucks continue to be the most popular sellers in his dealership, as they provide “more space but still get good fuel economy.” Pentler’s customers generally tailor vehicle choices to their individual needs and budget. He explained that customers select a variety of colors for their vehicles based on personal preference, but he noticed that recently, larger, darker wheels have been popular, as well as dark accent packages. Drivers continue to return to the F150 Pickup trucks, according to Pentler, as well as to the midsize SUVs, including the Bronco Sport and Chevy Equinox. The Ram and Silverado are top sellers as well. The Ford Bronco has also been popular, with customers appreciating its versatility. Pentler noted that it is an ideal vehicle for “summer driving with its top off, while still offering confidence in winter weather.”
Pentler additionally commented that “we’re still seeing a lot of technology coming into cars,” including “bigger touch screens, hands-free driving [options and] adaptive cruise controls that

make driving safer.” He noted that the “blue cruise” feature found on some Ford and Lincoln models permit drivers to navigate certain highway driving conditions with hands off the vehicle’s steering wheel. In this system, real-time GPS data as well as cameras allow the vehicle to sense the lines on the highway and stay within lane boundaries. Sensors gauge whether the driver’s eyes are focused on the road ahead; if not, the system deactivates the hands-free driving option for safety.
Kristen Boucher noted that she has seen “a noticeable increase in interest in electric and hybrid vehicles, particularly among shoppers who aren’t quite ready to transition fully to electric.” Within the Boucher Automotive Group, the Hyundai Ioniq 5, Hyundai Tucson Hybrid, and the Ford Mach-E are the most popular-selling hybrid and fully electric models. The Ford Lightning is a popular option for those seeking a truck. “These vehicles offer a great balance of innovation, efficiency, and practicality for today’s drivers,” Boucher stated. She said, “When it comes to transitioning from a traditional gas engine to an electric or hybrid vehicle, we tailor our advice based on the customer’s lifestyle.
We take into account factors like their profession, commute, hobbies, and driving habits to help them make the best choice for their needs. This individualized approach allows us to guide each customer toward a vehicle that truly fits their lifestyle.”
“The Boucher Automotive Group aims to stay at the forefront of the evolving auto industry by continuing to offer one of the largest selections of hybrid and electric vehicles,” Boucher said.
…crossovers, SUVs and trucks continue to be the most popular sellers in his dealership, as they provide “more space but still get good fuel economy.” Pentler’s customers generally tailor vehicle choices to their individual needs and budget.
The Boucher dealerships offer a wide array of hybrid and electric options across a variety of brands, including Hyundai, Genesis, Ford, Lincoln, Nissan, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, RAM, Mazda, Kia, and Volkswagen. All Boucher dealerships feature charging stations for electric vehicles “to support the growing shift toward electric mobility,” Boucher said. She added, “We’re proud to be certified for EV and hybrid servicing, as well as collision repair, ensuring our customers receive expert care for their vehicles.”
John Pentler also felt that hybrids were quite popular at his dealership. “We’re selling lots of hybrids,” he said. “They get better gas mileage, but without having to plug the vehicle in.” Pentler noted that there was “still a strong demand for gas vehicles” nonetheless, and that “manufacturers are doing a better job of maximizing the engine and power train technology” of these vehicles for the best fuel economy. He mentioned that vehicles are being designed with “smaller, turbo-charged engines,” which are more fuel-efficient and which “use smaller displacement,” while maintaining the power of a larger engine to allow the vehicle to accelerate well with daily driving.
When comparing electric and hybrid vehicles, Pentler has found that early adopters have already entered the electric market. While some individuals express apprehension at switching to an electric vehicle, a second group of buyers is now “investigating it as something they might want to try.” Among electric vehicles, Pentler stated that the Ford Mach-E and Chevy Equinox are among his Continued on page 26

Continued from page 22 top sellers. Pentler recently leased an electric vehicle for his own use, and described the process of driving one as part of a “fun learning curve.” He explained that while electric vehicles may not be suitable for everybody, they are “a viable option for many.” In considering the hybrid vehicle option, Pentler noted that “hybrid feels similar to gas—there is no need to plug in to an outlet, but it offers much better gas mileage than a normal gas-powered vehicle. Every time you press down on the brake you will harness the energy from the brakes in the battery.”
In many ways, he stated that hybrid vehicles offer drivers the “best of both worlds.”
Boucher noticed that customers at the Boucher dealerships have shown “a growing interest in hybrid pickup trucks, which might come as a surprise to some.” Both the Ford Maverick and Ford Lightning have sold well.
“Our five Ford dealerships in southeastern Wisconsin have seen strong performances in this segment, particularly among professionals who rely on pickup trucks for their work,” Boucher said. She has noted certain trends in vehicle selection, and said that at the Boucher dealerships, “we prioritize understanding our customers through our guest notes, which helps us learn about their driving habits and needs.”
Kristen Boucher noted “a noticeable increase in interest in electric and hybrid vehicles, particularly among shoppers who aren’t quite ready to transition fully to electric.”
Boucher has found that “safety and reliability are key factors” for new or first-time drivers, “along with finding a vehicle that reflects their personality.” For families, Boucher noted that priorities include “space and functionality, ensuring the vehicle can accommodate passengers, cargo, or towing requirements.”
Among Boucher’s customers who commute, she said that “traditional gas-powered vehicles remain a popular choice, especially for those without access to home charging options.”
Interestingly, among less-frequent drivers and older generations, Boucher observed that drivers “are increasingly gravitating toward fully electric vehicles.” “We’ve seen a growing number of people opting for financing or attractive lease

larger service vehicles…we excel in that…new people and businesses [are] coming in, so it’s been good.”
Both Pentler and Boucher mentioned vehicles their customers might want to explore as purchase options in the year ahead. Pentler recommended customers watch for the new Jeep Wagoneer EV, Chevy Tahoe, and Lincoln Navigator as potentially popular newer models in the coming months. For Boucher, Hyundai models offer exciting features and designs to watch. She explained, “Hyundai continues to lead the way with its Ioniq lineup, and the 2024 Ioniq 5 N has been named the 2024 EV of the Year. This model is perfect for those seeking a sporty EV with incredible performance, boasting a track-tested 0-60 mph time of just 3 seconds. Looking ahead, the 2025 version is definitely one to watch.” Boucher also noted that the 2025 Cadillac Lyriq “stands out” for customers seeking “a more luxurious option.” Of the Lyriq, Boucher said, “It offers a quiet, smooth highway ride, an elegantly designed cabin, and is priced more affordably compared to other luxury EVs, making it an exceptional value in its class.”
Among all purchases, Pentler said that in our Wisconsin climate, customers consistently seek out vehicles that feature “all-wheel drive [and] heated seats and steering wheels.” He also noted that newer technology, including “bigger touchscreens that allow hands-free use of media [and] music have become important for people.”
At the Boucher Automotive Group, Kristen Boucher said that “safety and technology are consistently the top priorities for customers when selecting a vehicle. With rapid advancements each year, people seek the most cuttingedge features to ensure their family’s safety while staying stylish and up-to-date.”
At both Uptown Motors and the Boucher Automotive Group, customers can expect to receive top-quality services and vehicle selection. John Pentler noted that Uptown Motors’ new showroom and service center have both been flourishing. “The Lincoln show room had a great year to help reach luxury clientele,” Pentler explained. “The new service center has good capacity to reach those businesses with
Pentler enjoys both his work learning about the vehicles he sells and working with his customers. For each of his customers, Pentler and his team are always happy to provide the thorough care, service, and knowledge for which his family’s Uptown Motors business is known. Of his work, he concluded, “It’s something I enjoy, educating and teaching how new technology works.”
“…we’re still seeing a lot of technology coming into cars,” including “bigger touch screens, hands-free driving [options and] adaptive cruise controls that make driving safer.”
The Boucher Automotive Group similarly strives to provide customers with an exceptional purchasing process as well as a vehicle best suited to the individual or family’s needs.
“At Boucher, we focus on providing a personalized experience for each customer,” Kristen Boucher said. She explained, “Our process starts with understanding their unique needs, preferences, and budget to ensure we find the perfect vehicle for them.
As Frank Boucher, our president, emphasizes, our three main responsibilities are to help you find the right vehicle, stay within your budget, and respect your time.”
Both Boucher and Pentler seek to offer their customers an outstanding experience surrounding the purchase of a new vehicle.
As Kristen Boucher summarized, “Our goal is to provide the vehicles, services, and infrastructure that meet the needs of today’s drivers while supporting the future automotive trends.” n
n n n While some dogs prefer to be outdoors regardless of the weather, the cold and often snowy and icy conditions winter brings can pose serious threats to their health.
MUCH LIKE THE WELL-PUBLICIZED challenges of keeping your four-legged family members healthy during the warmer weather, it’s important for pet owners to be aware of the unique threats that can arise during colder conditions.
Recognizing Cold Weather Hazards
Winter weather can pose various hazards to pets, including frostbite and hypothermia. Dogs left outside for extended periods, particularly those with short coats or pre-existing health conditions, are at greater risk. It’s essential to limit exposure to extreme cold, provide adequate shelter and recognize the symptoms of winter-related illnesses. Signs of hypothermia include shivering, lethargy and pale gums. Frostbite may present as discolored, cold skin, particularly on extremities like ears, paws and tails.
Protecting Your Pet’s Skin and Paws in Winter
Cold, dry air can cause pets’ skin to become dry and flaky. Regular grooming and moisturizing can help maintain their skin’s health. Consider using pet-safe moisturizers and avoid bathing them too frequently, as it can strip natural oils. Additionally, be cautious of salt and de-icing chemicals, which can irritate dogs’ paws and skin. Protect their paws
by using booties or applying a petsafe balm to help prevent cracks and irritation caused by ice, salt and cold surfaces. If not covering paws, always clean them after walks to check for any signs of injury or discomfort and consider using pet-safe ice melters.
Adjusting Diets for Winter
During the winter months, dogs may require a different diet to maintain their energy levels and body heat. Consult with your veterinarian about adjusting your four-legged friend’s food intake, especially if his or her activity level changes. Monitor your pet’s weight and adjust feeding portions as needed to prevent obesity or malnutrition. Also ensure your pet has access to fresh water, as dehydration can still occur in cold weather. In fact, warm water may encourage pets to drink more.
Keeping Pets Safe Indoors
If your winter pet safety plan includes keeping your dog indoors more often, ensure you provide him or her a warm and comfortable place to rest. Avoid placing your pet’s bed near drafty windows or doors, cold tile floors or uninsulated areas.
Also be mindful of potential hazards such as space heaters, fireplaces, holiday decorations and chemicals such as antifreeze, which is toxic to dogs. Keep them out of reach to prevent burns or accidental ingestion.
If you notice any unusual behavior or symptoms, contact your veterinarian immediately. Early intervention can prevent severe complications and ensure your furry friend remains healthy. Find more tips to help keep your pets happy and healthy all year long at www.eLivingtoday.com. n

HAVE YOU EVER LOOKED BACK in the late evening on your day’s beginning? Dispirited, struggling with a sense of discouragement and frustration, have you wondered why the entire day seemed so purposeless, so disappointing and unrewarding? Haven’t you often said to yourself as you felt too listless even to get ready for what should be a night’s rest: “What is the use of it all? What have I accomplished? Is any of this worthwhile?”
Begin the day with God, He is thy sun and day, He is the radiance of thy dawn. To Him address thy lay.
Henry Ward Beecher, a nineteenth century clergyman and the father, incidentally, of Harriet Beecher Stowe, stated a profound truth that may explain why so often our days seem without purpose. He said, “The first hour of the morning is the rudder of the day.”
What could he have meant? Probably what the poet meant who wrote the very simple lines:
Take thy first walk with God, Let Him go forth with thee, By stream or Mountain path, Seek still His company.
As one reads today’s news captions, as one listens to news readers, one realizes the time has come for every thinking person to return to the simple faith of this nation’s founding fathers. Some of our finest statesmen, and there was a time when America had many statesmen worthy of the name, began the day with their families by reading aloud a Psalm. There was a day when families, gathered around a breakfast or dinner table, not a snack bar, took time to bow their heads in a brief prayer of thankfulness for God’s grace.
There was a time, as a result of this kind of day’s beginning, that children were not rushed off to school in a flurry of dire
Thy first transaction be With God Himself above Then shall thy business prosper well And all thy day be love.
admonitions by mothers who were themselves in a flurry because late rising had resulted in late breakfasts, or none at all, and rising tempers. Time and speed have been ruthless enemies to the spiritual progress of our nation.
Families are the backbone of a nation. Families too busy to take out time for God are the first link in a nation’s downfall. Despite the cynics, and they are an unhappy, unimportant segment of our population regardless of what contributions they believe they make to the world of letters or science, let us work individually until our efforts evolve nationally by heeding Beecher’s words. “The first hour of the morning is the rudder of the day.” n
