CALL FOR TRAINERS BASES NCMD Training, Georgia
Call for Trainers and a Working Group for the National Committee Management & Development (NCMD) Training of the BASES project. As part of the BASES project, a National Committee Management and Development Training will take place in Bakuriani, Georgia, to train National Committee Board Members from EYP Armenia, EYP Azerbaijan, EYP Georgia, EYP Belarus and EYP Ukraine. This NCMD is unique in being able to offer targeted training tailored to the needs of a small group of NCs. Next to the training courses, an NCMD Guide will be produced throughout the weekend by a working group put together for this particular purpose. We are now looking for interested trainers and working group members for the NCMD Training! The NCMD Training will take place from the 25th to the 29th of November 2015, hosted by EYP Georgia, and organised by Tamta Tsveraidze, with the support of the Training and Alumni Development Council (TADC) and the EYP International Office. The training will last three days (arrivals and departures are planned for the 25th and 29th) and host 25 participants in total. Travel costs up to €300 will be reimbursed and transport from Tbilisi will be arranged. In addition to being a training event, the NCMD Training will also be taken as an opportunity to work on an NCMD Guide for National Committee Boards. Though an exhaustive guide would be impossible, the guide should serve to bring together content from NCMD Trainings in the past, as well as new material, to offer support especially to newer National Committees on some key aspects of managing and developing a National Committee. In addition to places for trainers, there are several places available for participants for the working group on the NCMD guide. Two coordinators will be selected, one for the training and one for the working group, from the pool of applicants. ȗ
All applicants are expected to have experience in National Committee Management and Development, for example through having been a member of a National Committee Board. Those applying as trainers should also have training experience. The selection panel will comprise Tamta Tsveraidze (Head-Organiser), Monika Seidel (International Office), Maria (on behalf of the TADC) and Sophie Hall (Governing Body). The working group will be responsible for planning, writing and publishing an NCMD guide, to be finalised by the end of the year. The weekend NCMD will be used to work intensely on writing and putting together the guide.
