Euro African Youth Parliament
Call for Vice-Presidents, Chairpersons and Editor(s) The First Euro African Youth Parliament will be held in Berlin, Germany between March 27th until April 4th 2014. The event is organised by both the International Office of the EYP and the Youthbridge Foundation from Accra, Ghana. Over 100 young people from all over Africa and Europe will gather in the capital of Germany to discuss political topics of global relevance and the future of Euro-African relations. The Chairs Team will consist of eight Chairpersons, one / two Editor(s) and one VicePresident. The Session Officials will be required to arrive in Berlin on March 24th in order to be involved in the final preparations and the arrangement of trainings for officials from March 25th onwards.
Each committee as well as the media team of the Session will consists of an equal number of African and European delegates and journalists. This equal parity will also be realised with regards to the Vice-Presidents, accompanied by the Session President, James Benge (UK), as well as in the editorial team and the team of organisers, which will be lead by Jonathan Engel (DE) and Maximilian B. Kiehn (DE). The call for journalists, organisers and delegates for EYPers will open in January 2014. Apply as a VP / Chair / Editor(s) until 27th of December All EYPers who have relevant experience are welcome to apply by filling the application form that can be found here. The Panel will look for applicants whose application form demonstrates both enthusiasm for the project and the Euro-African approach. The Panel will consist of a representative of the International Office of the European Youth Parliament, the President of the Session (James Benge, UK) and one of the Head-Organisers.
