OVERVIEW Submitting evaluations & recommendations EYP has transitioned to an evaluation system that is integrated onto the EYP Alumni Platform. It is now easier than ever to submit evaluations, as well as to check existing evaluations and recommendations. This overview serves as a quick explanation on how to use the evaluation system. For further questions or in case of doubt, please contact the HR Officer at hr@eyp.org

Step 0. Registration on the Alumni Platform To be able to receive and submit evaluations, you must be registered on the event’s page, in the role you had during the session. Before the session takes place, please make sure you register for the event, and that all your team members who can receive recommendations are also registered. You can register for an event by selecting the right event on the EYP Alumni Platform, selecting “Sign up” and by entering your role and personal data. You have to approve your registration by selecting “Complete registration”. Most sessions also have a code of conduct that you need to approve.

To check your evaluations Evaluations submitted after summer 2014 appear on your profile page on the Alumni Platform as soon as they are submitted.

To submit evaluations Step 1. Go to the event’s page on the Alumni Platform. Step 2. On the upper right corner, you will see a button called ‘Evaluate participants’.

Clicking on it will take you to a list of participants you can submit evaluations for. Note that this list depends on whether people have registered for the event or not.

Step 3. Click on the ‘Please evaluate’ option next to the name of the person you wish to submit an evaluation for – this will lead you to the online survey. We advise you to work on an offline (word) version of the document and once you have written all texts, only copy and paste the content into the online form. Step 4. After you have filled in the online form, click the ‘Save’ button at the bottom of the page. Step 5. Make a PDF-document out of the offline form and send it to the person you have just evaluated.
