Design Project 1: Form, Space + Order: Analytical Investigations
Studying the “Rural House alongside my classmate Wyatt Korb.
Completed in 2007 in the northern mountains of Girona Spain this land dividing building was due to the economic boom of Spain prior to 2008, built by Spanish Architecture Group RCR. Soon after the aw-astounding completion of Rural House the depression ensued. Rural House is now a Hotel getaway.
Design Project 2: Concept and Color : Material and Theory, Phenomenon, Organization + Space Extracting a concept of “A Modular system Engulfed by Nature from the exploration of different components within the Case Study House As to create 2D and 3D representations of the concept to better understand the reasoning behind the Case Study House in a new light.
This surrounding retaining wall became crucial to the development of my concept.
Two-dimensional representation of a modular rusted steel structure surrounded by Nature from all angels.
Three-dimensional representation of “A Modular System Engulfed by Nature
Design Project 3: Precedent + Invention, Structure + Intention: Imaging Research as Architecture + Space Using the concept of “A Modular System Engulfed by Nature” created in Project 2, Inspired by Project 1, a set of experiences created for visitors to enjoy and learn about “Rural House” informs the spaces, voids, and forms that are soon to be Architecture.

Vis. Project 2: Monograph
Hundertwasser and the Creation of Harmony Between Nature and Architecture
The study of famous Austrian Architect Hundertwasser and how he created harmony through nature and structure.
“Green Town” “The Rain Falls Far From Us Falls the Rain”
“Green Power”
“Rebellion of the Grid”
“The Third Skin”
“Blue Blues”
“The Blumau Hotel
The Blumau Hotel is a massive complex designed by Hundertwasser. It is built on a hot spring causing perfect swimming water and location.
“The Waldspirale”
The “Waldspirale” was Hundertwasser’s finale masterpiece that he complete right before he passed away. It is an apartment complex is more than one hundred units. This is Hundertwasser’s finale example to show the world that we are not building harmoniously with nature.
Vis. Project 3: Diagrams
Worked as a class to diagram the city map of Philadelphia, this was our first result.
Attempt at abstracting the layers, couldn’t fit all of them.
Final Product of layer abstraction
