A street in Ezbet Abu-Qarn is a semi-private/semi-public space, where people share their daily life together. A neighborhood is considered a big family house, a semi-private enclosed structure that is in constant dynamic change depending on the culture, needs, and lifestyle of each particular community. Based on the Ezbet community structure and lifestyle, streets have many functions other than being a pathway or a corridor for movement. People live in small apartments that barely fit their beds, living spaces and essential household objects which are also considered to be their main assets.
