JORDAN LYLE What kind of work you do? I’m a lead designer and animator at a design studio based in LA, called Gentleman Scholar.
Where are you currently living and How long have you been there? Apparently west coast is the best coast, so I moved to Los Angeles, California. I took a huge leap of faith and moved out here on my own about nine months ago at the end of April 2012.
What’s your go-to weekend hang out spot in LA? There’s a bar that I’ve come to claim as my little chill spot on a Saturday night called The Mandrake in Culver City. The music is always good and they seem to always find a way to cater to the only Jamaican in the house with some, let’s say, ‘classic’ dancehall and – you guessed it – a cold Red Stripe. It’s always a very eclectic crowd, typically comprising of some of the artsier LA residents, because the bar doubles as a contemporary art gallery during the day Check out Jordan’s work on his website jordanlyle.com
