Specific Last

ASICS kid’s shoes are designed to support the natural growth and development of children’s feet. The kid’s specific last creates a more spacious fit through the forefoot with better support in the midfoot and rearfoot, allowing for a smooth transition and relevance when you move from TS – PS – GS.

1. Special Grading –Proportional Fit

KINEMATIC COMFORT: Offer proportional fit depending on children's growth stage. (PS last proportionally offers more roomy fitting than GS last).

2. Oblique Shape With Roomy Toe Area

Children's toes are oblique – shaped unlike adults. Provide extra space in first toe for free toe movement, which enhances arch formation.

3. Centre Heel Angle

Turn heel centre inward, or more straight, just how children's feet are, to reduce pressure on the pinky toe.

New Last

4. Flatter Instep

Children's instep is flatter than adults. In this last, instep is designed flatter, which provides better fit after lacing up.

5. Moderate Toe Spring

If toe spring is too high, it is difficult to move toes freely. If toe spring is too low, children easily trip.

6. 2~5% Growth Margin in Ball Girth

Children grow quickly. Need buffer not to hamper their growth.

– Move toes freely, which enhances arch formation.
