FINE ART AUCTIONS MIAMI ANNOUNCES TWO MAJOR AUCTIONS THIS APRIL Major Modern & Contemporary Art Exceptional Jewels

MIAMI, FL – This April 2015, Fine Art Auctions Miami will host two major auctions: an “Exceptional Jewels” auction on April 21st and a "Major Modern & Contemporary Art" auction on April 23rd. The “Major Modern & Contemporary Art" auction will include important Latin American Art including artworks by leading artists such as Roberto MATTA , Wifredo LAM, Carmelo ARDEN QUIN, Jesus Rafael SOTO among many others. The auction is highlighted by masterpieces from Private Collection of Modern and Impressionist Art with works by Raoul DUFY (Estimate: $500,000 - $700,000), Marc CHAGALL (Estimate: $600,000 - $800,000), Moise KISLING (Estimate: $250,000 - $300,000), Salvador DALI and Pablo PICASSO’s ceramics. For the first time, FAAM will offer three stunning unexpected lots: Porsche Cars painted by Street Artists during FAAM Urban & Street Art week. One of the cars being a 1995 Porsche 911-993 Carrera, one of the most iconic Porsche car, has been painted by renowned Street Artists Chris Brown aka Konfuzed & KAI (Estimate: $200,000 - $250,000). Both auctions will reel in the most respected collectors in the industry. “We’ve seen incredible growth in the Art world in Miami over the past years and are excited to hold again our annual Spring auctions” says FAAM Founder and Director Frédéric Thut. “This year we’re looking forward to auctioning the greatest pieces from our sellers’ collections”.

In February 2015, FAAM Urban & Street Art week gathered local and international street artists including The London Police, C&R: Christian Volkman and Raphael Thierry, Federico Massa aka IENA CRUZ, KAI, Chris Brown aka Konfuzed and local artists ABSTRK under one roof. Artists painted multiple pieces throughout the five day Urban & Street Art Exhibit, which welcomed over 1,500 guests. Recording artist and aspiring street artist, Chris Brown aka Konfuzed collaborated with KAI to create seven pieces including the hoods of two vintage Porsches. The cars were included in the upcoming “Major Modern & Contemporary Art” auction. Porsche Cars: - Lot 99. On April 21st, FAAM will present its spring auction dedicated to over 100 pieces, which will be on public view starting on April 16th until April 21st. To celebrate this auction, FAAM has decided to host two very intimate Ladies Breakfasts around the timeless pieces part of the sale. These events will include a presentation by the jewelry expert, Annabelle Cukierman, also professor at the National Institute of Gemology in Paris, who will share her knowledge on precious stones and diamonds.
