THIRD GENERATION TAKES OVER MANAGEMENT
Foundation of our company in Isaar near Töpen by Ernst Faber. At this time the office and the knitting factory are located in Ernst Faber‘s house.
After his technical training, Günter Faber, Ernst Faber‘s younger son, joins the company and takes over the technical management of the knitting and ready-made clothing department.
Ernst Faber oHG is founded by Ernst Faber and his two sons Herbert and Günter Faber.
Herbert Faber‘s first son, Walter Faber, is now joining the family business in the third generation after his training as a textile technician.
Since 1981 the younger son of Herbert Faber, Markus Faber, has also been part of Ernst Faber oHG. He starts his work in the commercial department of the company.
At the turn of the millennium there is also a new management in the present Ernst Faber GmbH. Markus and Walter Faber take over the management of the company together with their wives Benita and Martina.

FURTHER EXTENSION
After our turnover has increased tenfold since the first building, an extension and thus an enlargement of the production area becomes necessary.
Since the extension in 1960, the turnover has again increased strongly; therefore the decision was made to build a new company building.
After we were able to achieve a further increase in our turnover, the new building from 1972 is extended by twice the production and storage space.

THIRD CONSTRUCTION PHASE Due to further expansion a third extension of the company building is necessary.

NEXT GENERATION With Katharina Lindner, Walter Faber‘s eldest daughter, and Victoria Faber, Markus Faber‘s daughter, now the fourth generation is also actively involved in the family business at the Isaar site.
TODAY
NEW BRAND NAME After the company‘s 70th anniversary, we are starting into 2018 with a new brand name. With the label FABER WOMAN we now sell a highquality knitwear coordinate collection that is characterized by a high degree of fashion combined with excellent quality. 7
COLLECTION DEVELOPMENT With the FABER WOMAN brand we present an individual and sophisticated knitwear collection for modern women every six months. Our customer is looking for a high fashion level in connection with very good quality, best wearing comfort and appropriate fit. More than 700 retailers worldwide, with a focus on Europe, are served by the FABER WOMAN brand. For the Spring l Summer 2020 collection, our team at the Isaar site designed a wonderful knitwear coordinate collection. Since its foundation in 1947, the company Ernst Faber GmbH manufactures at their headquarters in Isaar near Toepen. The knitwear is produced by using the latest flat weft knitting machines and a customized logistics system in a modern business. That is a clear commitment to the home location as well as to the company’s principle „quality instead of quantity“.

CAPSULE 1 Colours: Navy Blue, Pearl White The first capsule is two-coloured and very easy to combine. Navy Blue is shown together with Pearl White as a wonderful, exciting allover print–on jersey fabric, in blouse quality as well as on knitted fabric and knitted as jacquard in net optics. This look is achieved by the use of a high-quality, fine viscose mix yarn. Details such as net are also shown on the ready-made clothing and sewn on in contrast as a ribbon. The technical fabric of the trouser suit as well as the accessories in the second colour make a new, high-quality statement. A minimalist jacquard in net optics is shown as a complete combination group. In addition, there is a hand-drawn group of dots available in a wide variety of qualities, shapes and variants as trousers, quilted jacket, sweater, blouse or shirt for multiple combinations.
10
11
CAPSULE 2 Colours: Flamingo, Red, Navy Blue, Pearl White Our second capsule additionally consists of the colours Flamingo and Red which are shown in combination with Navy Blue and Pearl White as a placed print, as well as colour divisions, inserted colour blockings, as an inside of the double face and also as a completely new colour combination of Flamingo-Red in stripes and dots.
12
13
CAPSULE 3 Colours: Cognac, Black, White African elements, animal and graphic patterns are presented in this capsule. All prints/jacquards and ribbons have a new effect due to the beautiful colour Cognac which is used discreetly and as a narrow ribbon, fine stripe or as printing ink. An African print with graphic colour divisions is one of the highlights with a metallic foil printing; just like the zebra jacquards in new divisions which are also shown as ribbons on plain styles. Crosswise stripes, striped trousers in casually falling viscose as well as blouses and shirts look elegant and modern.
14
15
CAPSULE 4 Colours: Fuchsia, Orange, Black, White This capsule shows geometry in its most beautiful forms. Be it as a Black-and-White pattern, which discreetly receives colour as stripes to round it off, or as pullovers and jackets, which in their new colour combination Fuchsia-White-Orange attract all attention. Here we play with shapes, reinterpret colour inserts and use high-quality accessories to embellish plain colours. You can find prints on shirt quality, as dress, blouse inserts and as plays of stripes and plain styles as patch.
16
17
CAPSULE 5 Colours: Silver Grey, White, Black The fifth capsule shows snake as a completely new and raised, stylized pattern. With transparent effect yarns, jacquards are created with a sensationally beautiful look. Snake is printed in blocks on hole structure. As a print on viscose you will find a breathtakingly beautiful, flowing dress. And also on blouses and shirt this pattern looks very noble. As trousers you can wear it with the hole structure combination group, which makes it look sportier. Metal plates in matt Silver round off this group perfectly. Silver Grey is also the supermodern suit made of a technical fabric, which looks unbelievably cool and casual due to its two colours–Silver with White detail.
18
19
CAPSULE 6 Colours: Lemon, White, Silver Grey, Black The knitted and technical looking hole structure is also part of this capsule and will be interpreted in more detail and with the additional colour Lemon. The colour combination Lemon, White and Silver does not only look noble and new, it also provides an incredibly fresh and radiant look. Blocked, striped, as a colour gradient as well as a stripe detail with knitted slits and as a hole pattern–this colour world simply shines! The Leo capsule print being used here looks ultra-modern in the new colour composition and is presented as a jersey blazer, on shirts, trousers and a dress.

YARN TYPES SPRING | SUMMER 2020 BASIC YARNS
VISCOSE STRETCH YARN 69% VISCOSE - 29% POLYACRYLICS - 2% ELASTHANE A majority of the knitwear consists of our very comfortable viscose stretch yarn. Viscose is a semi-synthetic chemical fibre spun from natural cellulose fibres. Therefore viscose is not considered a synthetic fibre. Our sustainable and environmentally friendly viscose stretch yarn regulates moisture in an

CARE TIPS FOR KNITWEAR Please always read the care instructions on your garment before washing. WASHING
DRYING & IRONING
• Turn garments inside out before washing and close fasteners (use a laundry net if necessary)
• Do not dry knitted garments in the dryer
• Cotton/viscose: 30° wash in delicate wash cycle with mild liquid detergent • Merino wool/cashmere: hand or cold wash on wool cycle with liquid wool or cashmere detergent • Only short spinning in the machine at low speed
• Do not wring out garments but gently press them out on a towel • Pull the garment into shape and let it dry lying on a towel • Do not dry the knitwear hanging down • Iron from the left at low to medium temperature with steam and slight pressure
PILLING Pilling is a rare occurrence in our products, but unfortunately fluff and small knots cannot be avoided completely. They occur when single fibres come loose and become felted in the washing machine or by friction when worn.
36
Tip: Pilling can be easily removed with the help of a fluff razor. Important: Pilling is not necessarily a sign of poor quality, even very high-quality yarns can pill.
