Work Experience

I have completed a BA (Honors) degree in Graphic Product Innovation from the University of the Arts London. I possess the key skills and qualities needed to make a positive contribution to any design campaign or project. Whist studying, I developed my craft as a graphic designer, learning the Adobe Creative suites at a confident level which enable me to execute Projects.

Accelya - July 16 / Present Working at Accelya as a creative marketing specialist has been a role split into two. Firstly I have my duties as a designer to fulfill creative outputs including Social media design, brochure/ handbook artwork, digital email shots, branded posters and corporate presentations. Secondly the more hands on approach when organising events worldwide contributing to unique and compelling event spaces along with advertising artwork to complement them.

A keen learner and adaptable individual, I am always striving to hone my design capabilities and fortify my understanding, helping me to progress and succeed in the graphic design industry.

Team Work The skills I posses to contribute to the team is strong communication and organisation, this enables a fluent work flow and produces a well thought through end product.

IT Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator are my core programs I use on a day to day basis which enables me to use my creative knowledge and these pieces of software brings my ideas to life. I also have working knowledge of Word and eager to expand my knowledge to learn more programs such as Flash, Adobe Premier and Final cut.

Acumen advertising - September 15 / July 16 At Acumen advertising as a graphic designer I came across a lot of new challenges such as designing for print and setting up on a more higher level and honing in more on my digital skills. Crowdmix/ Musically Digital - March 15 / August 15 My role as a digital graphic designer at Crowdmix was to take responsibility of keeping our social media contemporary and clean with design work from competitions to events we attend to. Making sure our client decks for presentations are presentable and have a visual impact on our clients & influencer's around the world. Helping to restyle the branding before launch making sure that Crowdmix has the aesthetics to make a global impact in their market.

Angels Media - May 13 / February 14 This role was an internship that was going to be made permanent however due to lack of company funds they could not extend my contract. My role included but was not limited too:

Musically Digital - February 14 / March 15 I was Head of Creative for a small but successful start up agency. By keep my work contemporary and up to date in todays ever changing shift in design I read design magazines, browse the web for inspiration and advertisements world wide. My role is to manage all elements of design work internally and externally, Our main client are Media, Entertainment and Event based. Angel Upholstery: A rebranded logo with a modern style and unique combination of elements PrePosit: Round and bold font styled for a safety money transactions business Love House: A rough hand written font for a House Music events business Indigenous Beauty: Columbian inspired brand identity for natural deodorant Color Iconic: A logo created for a ladies hair salon which resembled in the initials free flowing hair MitchellByMitchell: Fashion brand and personal shopper, combining a sleek & stylish look


Emirates Palace, Abu Dhabi Advertisement artwork for the second 7* hotel in the United Arab Emirates. This was one of several pieces of artwork my agency selected to send to our potential client. This design was formed using elements such as shadows, reflections and fills from brainstorming on the look we wanted to achieve. Making sure the messaging was right which was to promote office spaces within the palace that needed to be let to appropriate businesses.


The El’s Club membership advertisements The El’s Club is one of the most known golf courses in the Middle East. The El’s needed promotional adverts which visually represented them and help them to convey their message to both thier consumers and regular customers. The artwork to the left thought process behind the idea was an all in one experience. The design on the right was inspired from a style called Double Exposure, when conceptualising this helped to combine the two images achieving a strong result.


SPAN’s storage solutions advertisement SPAN storage solutions needed to make a bold statement that expressed that their piece of equipment was the best in the market. To achieve this I needed to trim the fat from the many directions this project could go in. Singling out the product and giving the advert a strong message made this a clean and simple advert but an effective one.


Courvoisier DXB Duty Free Artwork Given the opportunity to be able to create the collateral for Courvoisier located at the DXB Airport Dubai duty free. This was a great project allowing me to be exposed to one of the largest alcoholic brand in the world. The Artisan edition is now covered internationally around alcohol stores and being able to contribute to marketing there product has been a great experience.


Gulf Drug Projects Brochure Taking on this project I need to take on a more corporate approach as the audience targeted was B2B. The creative direction for this was a clinical approach utilising the white space and showing also the projects on double page spreads. When given the opportunity to add a finishing touch on some pages placed in actual architectural plans subtly in the background.


SPAN’s warehouse safety brochure Going down the route of clean and simple I followed previous projects in the same direction especially with this brochure design. Highlighting the red and white contrasts mixed with imagery fused well together and giving it a minimalist look was the idea. This helped keep the corporate identity intact.


Hospinorm stationary branding This stationary branding for Hospinorm was given a clean and simple look and let the subtle blue gradient speak for itself as well as a big and bold logo. I gave a minimal approach to this brand which I believe was the best option.


BCM Planet Dance Top 100 club Magazine spread One of the most established and renowned clubs in the world hosting the like of Snoop Dogg, Steve Aoki, Tinie Tempa, Labrinth and Chase & Status, the list goes on. Magazine spread Digital and Print based announcing their vote page to get in to the top 3 clubs in the world currently positioned 5th.


Social Marketing the Faithless Event Approaching the creative direction for this Faithless event in London I wanted to make sure each artist/ DJ was at the vocal point of each artwork. I was provided the artist photography which gave me the opportunity to work around this and produce something as clean as possible and suitable for social media sharing.


Social Marketing the Ahora Events Sharable social media artwork for Ahora events gave me a great opportunity to create a consistent appealing style that would flow across all collateral and all digital applications. My aim was to give this artwork a unique and individual feel which was to implement the city the event was held in which created an enhanced buzz.


AuraPortal e-mail shots A solutions management company based in Dubai needed a new and fresh approach. These concepts show a corporate look with a sleeker, sharper and more straight to the point design utilising their neutral subtle colours bringing them out in the key areas such as calls to action buttons and header sections.


Macallan Rare Cask e-mail designs Macallan is renowned across the world for their alcohol products and working with Mario Testino’s photographs for this project provided the right assets required to create something very unique. With creative freedom I was able to design something clean and very stylish for the high-end market and consumers.


VoucherSkout Email Shots These are VoucherSkouts email shots for the consumers that’s have signed up with them. When designing these concepts, I made sure that the pink was at the forefront of the design and that the message was as clear and direct as possible. Using the space wisely and making the e-mails easy to read and for the reader to soak up the content from a glimpse and encourage click through’s to sign up.


p.i.dev p.i.dev is a large business specialising in various platforms such as shipping, real estate, logistics, investment, Natural Resources and media. This design shows off its large menu with geomentric shapes utilising the neutral brand colours this brand has bringing the site to life.


T-Scape This business and their technical consultants are experts in the field of financial transaction processing and analysis. Designing this site and conveying their message to key clients was essential to help merge simplicity and subtlety. Introducing their brand elements and the strong colour palette T-scape has, producing something that is easy to digest whilst still retaining large amounts of content.


Revenue Management Systems RMS is a global leader in revenue management solutions for the aviation, rail, and cargo industries. They assist more than 80 airlines, rail operators, and cargo carriers worldwide. Planning the RMS website, we knew that the brand had strong qualities that we could introduce within the site such as large images and strong brand colours that could really bring the website to life, which I feel we achieved well.
