eagle con rods Free your engine's horsepower on the wings of Eagle H-beam connecting rods. Their 2-piece, forged, vacuum-degassed, 4340-certified steel construction provides outstanding strength, while still weighing much less than stock rods. Each rod is multistage heat-treated, X-rayed, sonic-tested, magnafluxed, 100 percent machined, and then shot-peened to stress-relieve the metal. The rods have precision cap alignment sleeves to positively locate each rod cap, silicon bronze bushings for floating pin models, and are available in stroker models that allow additional cam-to-rod clearance for large stroke combinations. They come standard with 190,000 psi rated ARP 8740 and 230,000 psi rated ARP 2000 rod bolts, or 265,000 psi rated ARP L-19 bolts as upgrades.

Why spend time and money reconditioning your stock rods when you can upgrade to a set of Eagle SIR I-Beam connecting rods for less? They're forged from 5140 steel for outstanding strength and reliability and they come in both press-fit and bushed pin models. Their lightweight design places less stress on the rest of your rotating assembly to increase engine life and better handle high-rpm use. The rods are X-rayed, sonic-tested, magnafluxed, and shot-peened to stress-relieve the metal. They come with 12-point ARP Wave-Lok rod bolts and are weight-matched to within two grams. The big end sizing is controlled by in-house CNC equipment to ensure precise machining and accurate fitment.

Forged from SAE/AISI certified 4340 steel, Eagle's ''FSI'' I-Beam rods offer a high-strength, lower cost alternative to their H-Beam rods. Eagle ''FSI'' I-Beam rods are equipped with 7/16'' ARP 8740 bolts and siliconbronze bushings for performance and racing applications. Big end sizing is performed with Sunnen's Krossgrinding system to ensure perfect sizing. I-Beam design is lighter and less expensive than H-Beam designs. Eagle ''FSI'' I-Beam rods are recommended for use up to approximately 750 hp (small block) or 850 hp (big block).

Manley pistons are machined of high strength 2618 material. Each design is lightweight yet robust enough to deliver long service life. Offset wrist pin design is utilized for quiet start-ups. Perfect ring groove to skirt squareness is achieved through our unique "one fixturing" manufacturing method that assures maximum horsepower. All pistons come with moly coated skirts. Round wire locks, premium chrome moly wrist pins, and premium steel top ring sets from Total Seal are included with every kit at no additional charge. 9310 alloy upgraded wrist pins are available.
