GenX 255 LS3 Cylinder Heads

Trick Flow engineers combined the best features of factory GM LS3 and LS7 cylinder heads with their own race-winning engineering and technology to create the ultimate square port LS cylinder head for 4.000" and larger bore engines—the GenX® 255. Trick Flow GenX 255 heads feature fully CNC Competition Ported runners with a premium high resolution surface finish for maximum airflow and performance potential. The valve angles have been changed from 15° to 12° to increase piston-to-valve clearance and allow the use of larger camshafts. The coolant holes through the head deck were redesigned to work with all LS head gasket and engine block combinations. Stock LS3 ports accommodate LS3-style intake manifolds and LS9/LSA blower assemblies. Trick Flow GenX 255 heads are available with standard or 6-bolt per cylinder mounting patterns. Trick Flow High Port® 192 cylinder heads are among the most dominant aftermarket small block Ford heads in racing. They feature unique valve spacing, .750" raised exhaust runners, extra strong castings and thick decks for additional rigidity and gasket integrity, superior cooling characteristics, and most importantly, excellent airflow. The large Fast As Cast® runners duplicate the profiles of CNC-ported heads to create ultra-high flowing heads without costly CNC-porting. The entry into the intake runner has been reshaped to help seal the area along the port roof and thicker port walls increase strength and provide more material for porting. Plus, interlocking ductile iron seats are used to handle the stresses of high heat, high horsepower applications. Trick Flow PowerOval® 280 cylinder heads for big block Chevy are an ideal upgrade from factory cast iron heads for street/strip and marine applications. They feature an oval intake port design that produces excellent low and midrange torque and horsepower, plus Fast As Cast® runners for near-CNC-ported performance for about the same money as standard cast heads. HOWARDS TECH TIP Hydraulic lifters should never be pumped up with oil before installation. This will cause the valve lifter plunger to “top out” rather than it’s normal operating height, giving you incorrect valve adjustment. This incorrect pre-load will cause excessive valve train noise, rough idle and can cause severe engine damage.

The Highest Levels of ZDDP of All Popular Brands Not only the most important product for proper camshaft break-in, but also extremely important at each oil change. Replaces the Zinc-Phosphates (ZDDP) removed from today’s oils. Use with both hydraulic and mechanical flat tappet camshafts. Virtually eliminates cam and lifter wear at initial break-in. Don’t pay for added mineral oil in some competitors bigger bottles. Max ZPM™ has the highest levels of Zinc-Phosphates (ZDDP) of all the popular brands tested, plus the addition of moly for extra protection. Compatible with all petroleum base and synthetic oils. Manley Performance manufactures the finest steel connecting rods in the Sport Compact industry. Our Pro Series "I" Beam is forged from 4340 aircraft quality vacuum degassed material. We utilize our proven "Turbo Tuff" design and add 3/8" ARP 2000 cap screws. All rods are properly shot peened after machining and 100% magnafluxed. Manley Pro Series Turbo Tuff connecting rods are used by the best tuners in and outside of the United States in some of the fastest, high horsepower, heart stopping engines being produced. For the budget conscious enthusiast, we also offer our very high quality, yet economical, H-Beam design connecting rods. These are also manufactured from 4340 alloy forgings. They are fully machined, heat treated, stress relieved, shot peened, and magnafluxed. They also are built standard with 3/8” ARP 2000 bolts. H-Plus sets come with ARP 625+ bolts.
