GenX 255 LS3 Cylinder Heads

Trick Flow engineers combined the best features of factory GM LS3 and LS7 cylinder heads with their own race-winning engineering and technology to create the ultimate square port LS cylinder head for 4.000" and larger bore engines—the GenX® 255. Trick Flow GenX 255 heads feature fully CNC Competition Ported runners with a premium high resolution surface finish for maximum airflow and performance potential. The valve angles have been changed from 15° to 12° to increase piston-to-valve clearance and allow the use of larger camshafts. The coolant holes through the head deck were redesigned to work with all LS head gasket and engine block combinations. Stock LS3 ports accommodate LS3-style intake manifolds and LS9/LSA blower assemblies. Trick Flow GenX 255 heads are available with standard or 6-bolt per cylinder mounting patterns. Trick Flow High Port® 192 cylinder heads are among the most dominant aftermarket small block Ford heads in racing. They feature unique valve spacing, .750" raised exhaust runners, extra strong castings and thick decks for additional rigidity and gasket integrity, superior cooling characteristics, and most importantly, excellent airflow. The large Fast As Cast® runners duplicate the profiles of CNC-ported heads to create ultra-high flowing heads without costly CNC-porting. The entry into the intake runner has been reshaped to help seal the area along the port roof and thicker port walls increase strength and provide more material for porting. Trick Flow PowerOval® 280 cylinder heads for big block Chevy are an ideal upgrade from factory cast iron heads for street/strip and marine applications. They feature an oval intake port design that produces excellent low and midrange torque and horsepower, plus Fast As Cast® runners for near-CNC-ported performance for about the same money as standard cast heads. Efficient heart-shaped, CNC-profiled combustion chambers have CNC bowl blended valve seat transitions to promote high velocity and huge airflow volume, plus 24 degree valve angles with 4 degree side cants to further increase airflow. These Manley Pro Series crankshafts can make your short block bulletproof. They feature forged 4340 construction and undergo a multi-step heat-treatment process and are then nitrided for added strength. The crankshafts are stress-relieved, shot-peened, and magnafluxed. The Manley Pro Series crankshafts have micro-polished large .125 in. radius journals, gun-drilled mains, and lightened rod journals for weight reduction. The counterweights are fully profiled and they are designed for internal balancing.

cast Crankshafts If you need a crankshaft that’s dependable, but don’t want to empty your bank account, then Eagle Specialty Products has the solution. These cast steel crankshafts for Chevy feature .092 radii on the rod, main journals, a rear seal, and a snout for increased strength. The crankshafts for Ford have .125 radii on all rod and main journals. Each of these cranks is inspected for dimension, size, and stroke accuracy. They have a journal finish of 6 R.A. or less and a target bob weight of +/- 2 percent for a reduced balancing time.

They feature non-twist forging, go through a multi-stage heat-treatment process, and are stress-relieved and shot-peened. Mahle’s PowerPak piston assemblies include forged pistons, piston rings, pins, and wire locks--all in one race-proven package. The pistons are hand-deburred and then coated with dry phosphate to protect against ring micro-welding and pin galling during initial startup. For additional performance, Mahle added its proprietary Grafal anti-friction coating to the piston skirts. Low drag rings, steel pins, and round wire locks complete the Mahle PowerPak package.
