LS Cathedral Port Cylinder Heads Cylinder Heads

These Trick Flow GenX cathedral port cylinder heads are fully CNC-machined to significantly increase the performance of GM LS-powered vehicles. Trick Flow engineers altered the valve angles from 15° to 13.5° to decrease valve shrouding, increase mid-lift airflow, and improve rocker arm-to-valve cover clearance. Material added at the rocker arm mounting points increases high-rpm valvetrain stability. The spark plugs were relocated in the CNC-profiled combustion chambers to enhance midlift airflow and increase the rigidity of the casting for extreme horsepower applications. Top-of-the-line CNC Competition Ported runners have a premium high resolution surface finish for maximum flow and performance. Cylinder heads are available fully assembled or as bare castings. Trick Flow PowerOval® 280 cylinder heads for big block Chevy are an ideal upgrade from factory cast iron heads for street/ strip and marine applications. They feature an oval intake port design that produces excellent low and midrange torque and horsepower, plus Fast As Cast® runners for near-CNC-ported performance for about the same money as standard cast heads. Efficient heart-shaped, CNC-profiled combustion chambers have CNC bowl blended valve seat transitions to promote high velocity and huge airflow volume, plus 24 degree valve angles with 4 degree side cants to further increase airflow. GenX® 255 Cylinder Heads for GM LS3

Trick Flow engineers combined the best features of factory GM LS3 and LS7 cylinder heads with their own race-winning engineering and technology to create the ultimate square port LS cylinder head for 4.000" and larger bore engines—the GenX® 255. Trick Flow GenX 255 heads feature fully CNC Competition Ported runners with a premium high resolution surface finish for maximum airflow and performance potential. The valve angles have been changed from 15° to 12° to increase piston-to-valve clearance and allow the use of larger camshafts. The coolant holes through the head deck were redesigned to work with all LS head gasket and engine block combinations. Stock LS3 ports accommodate LS3-style intake manifolds and LS9/LSA blower assemblies. Trick Flow GenX 255 heads are available with standard or 6-bolt per cylinder mounting patterns. ARP Tapered Ring Compressor ARP tapered piston ring compressors are CNCmachined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum tube material and feature a true radius for each individual bore diameter. They're also relieved to accommodate wire O-rings on the bottom. Type 3 anodizing is used for long life, and each bore size is prominently engraved in 3/4 in. high numbers for easy identification. The true-radius design of ARP tapered ring compressors is far superior to conventional tapered devices, and they're widely acclaimed by professional engine builders. ARP Thread Cleaning Chasers

Six new dual size ring squaring tools designed to make fitting piston rings as accurate as possible. These tools are CNC machined from 6061-T6 billet tube material and Black Anodized to a brilliant finish. The bore sizes are prominently engraved for easy identification and range in bore sizes from 3.150˝ to 4.800˝ SAE and 80mm to 122mm Metric.

ARP’s handy thread cleaning chaser taps are designed with correct thread pitch and diameter to clean dirty blind or thru holes. Taps come in five USS sizes: 1/4˝, 5/16˝, 3/8˝, 7/16˝ and 1/2˝, as well as metric. They are sold individually or in sets. Please note that these are strictly cleaning taps and are not designed to cut thread. They are a handy addition to the tool box of any serious engine builder and an essential aid to preparing any block for final assembly.

The most important product for proper flat tappet camshaft break-in available. This is true for both hydraulic and mechanical flat tappet camshafts. Virtually eliminates cam and lifter wear at initial break-in. Replaces the Zinc-Phosphates (ZDDP) removed from today's oils. High levels of ZincPhosphates (60,000 ppm Zinc, 42,000 ppm Phosphates), plus the addition of moly for extra proftection. Compatible with all petroleum base and synthetic oils. Just add one 4 ounce bottle for up to 6 quarts of oil.

electric water pumps The electric water pump was designed to alleviate the power drag produced by conventional pulley drive units. A heavy duty electric motor, turning at approximately 1,500 rpm, is more than adequate to fulfill cooling needs without draining horsepower from the engine. The unit can be wired to operate manually, even with the engine off. The motor life is rated at 2,750 hours of continuous operation at 176 F. Kit is complete with gaskets, billet aluminum inlet fitting, mounting hardware, pigtail connector, and timing cover block-off plate (Ford Applications).
