Greetings Briggs Family!!! Guess what? It’s that time again. That’s right!!! Yes, you guessed it, just as The O’Jays sang it; “FAMILY REUNION” gonna be a “FAMILY REUNION”. This year the 2nd Annual Briggs Family Reunion will be held in Los Angeles, California July 19-22, 2013. The Briggs Reunion Committee cordially invites you to come and join in this wonderful celebration of family. We promise lots of food, fun and most of all excitement!!!

We selected hotels of varying star ratings and price points so that everyone would have an option suited to their needs and their budget. The hotels were all reviewed and selected to ensure they are clean, in close proximity to great Los Angeles area activities and sightseeing locations and provided the best value for the price. We encourage you to visit Trip Advisor for guest reviews and information on these hotels before making your selection. You are responsible for your transportation from the airport to the hotel in most cases. We encourage you to contact the travel agent to assist you in booking flights and rental cars or shuttle service. The travel agent is skilled in getting you the lowest cost flights possible and will work hard to ensure your travel is booked smoothly and efficiently.

Hotel Information: Please be advised that hotel arrangements are to be made by June 19, 2013. Hotel reservations information is available on the following pages. A credit card is required to reserve your room(s). Reservations are on a first come first serve basis based upon availability To obtain the discounted group rate, please inform the representative that you are a part of the “Briggs Family Reunion”. Travel/Transportation: WE ARE PROVIDING CHARTER BUS TRANSPORTATION TO ALL FAMILY ACTIVITIES. You will not have to worry about how you will get to any scheduled activities. We have your transportation covered! You are responsible to get from the airport to your hotel of choice. Our travel agent, Carter Elite Travel can assist you in renting cars or arranging to ride with other family members in ride-share shuttle service from LAX.

T-Shirt Order/Payment If you are interested in purchasing a t-shirt, please complete the enclosed order form and return it with your payment by Friday, March 15, 2013. No orders will be taken during the reunion weekend, so please be sure to place your orders now.


Reunion Registration Fee: The reunion registration fee is $150 per adult/teen age 13 +, $125 per child age 5-12, and babies to 4 years of age are free. To ensure that your reunion registration fee is properly accounted for, please complete the enclosed form with your money order and return to Crystal B. Smith by May 31, 2013. It is important to pay your reunion registration fee on time and submit the required information. The reunion will not be responsible and will consider registration fees unpaid if they do not reach Crystal B. Smith. Registration Fees will only support the activities listed above. You will be responsible for any additional entertainment. Family members are expected to pay registration fees by the requested deadline if you plan to attend the reunion. Your support and cooperation will be greatly appreciated. All final counts (fees & t-shirt orders) and funds must be received by May 31st, 2013 to ensure your participation in this year’s reunion.
