THE NEXT-GENERATION SPORTS CAR

The private launch event took place at the marque’s state-ofthe-art Moda Mall showroom. The world’s first Super Tourer, this next-generation sports car combines a scintillating driving experience with exceptional refinement, cutting-edge technology and indulgent luxury.

It features a best-in-class power output of 671bhp/800Nm from a four-litre, V8 twin-turbo engine, with a top speed of 325km/h and accelerates from 0-100km/h in 3.6 seconds. Supported by an all-new suspension system featuring the latest adaptive dampers, control and connection are further amplified by an exceptionally precise and direct Electronic Power Assisted Steering (EPAS) system and, for the first time on an Aston Martin DB model, an Electronic Rear Differential (E-Diff) that enhances agility and brings the DB12 alive on the most dynamic of roads. Drivers get a choice of five pre-set driving modes: GT, Sport and Sport+ offer more freedom to explore the limits of grip and traction; Wet mode enhances stability on lowgrip surfaces; and Individual mode allows the driver to precisely tailor the vehicle systems to their preferences.

More muscular, the bold and assertive exterior is the perfect expression of power and features the largest front grill ever fitted to an Aston Martin coupé. The DB12 is framed by new Light Emitting Diode (LED) headlights with a distinctive new Daytime Running Lamp (DRL) signature and intricate surface detailing. Sitting proudly on the nose is the latest evolution of the iconic Aston Martin wings badge. New smaller, frameless wing mirrors complement the new design whilst also improving the aerodynamic profile of the car.

Aston Martin have worked closely to optimise the structure of the lightweight wheels to maximise performance without compromising aesthetics. The Michelin Pilot Sport 5s wheels feature noise-cancelling polyurethane foam inserts that reduce tyre ‘hum’ transmitted to the car’s interior by 20%.

A major DB12 landmark is the introduction of Aston Martin’s next-generation infotainment, the marque’s first in-house system. It forms the centrepiece of the all-new interior design that integrates the latest technologies and compatibility with mobile devices, with luxury craftmanship and the finest materials. This supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and is a fully integrated multi-screen system, displayed using 10.25inch Pure Black, 1970x720 high-resolution screens with ultraresponsive capacitive touch control. Driver-centric controls are ergonomically placed along the cabin centre line, ensuring maximum driver connection.

This all-new connected car ecosystem utilises three key elements – the DB12, the Aston Martin App and Aston Martin’s secure data servers. They connect through globally roaming 4G LTE / GSM cellular networks via the embedded e-SIM in the DB12, which is provided and funded by Aston Martin.

The new DB12 is available to order, with first deliveries scheduled to begin in Q3 2023. ✤
