AN ELECTRIFYING PERFORMANCE

Selekted Sound presents a show by well-known international DJ Rodriguez Jr. in the Kingdom on June 2.

Famous for creating extraordinary musical experiences for crowds across the globe in all genres of electronic music, Rodriguez Jr. also known as Olivier Mateu – an award-winning music producer and live performer – will be putting on a show in Bahrain. Having spent 25 years in the music industry and known as a visionary in the genres of melodic house and techno, Rodriguez Jr. is set to enthral crowds on June 2 at the Choices Terrace located at The Art Hotel & Resort, in Amwaj.

Also part of the lineup for the exciting event are: Bahraini DJ and producer Zone+ who found his musical direction in the early days of Soundscapes as a resident DJ, along with Turkish DJ and producer Mesut Kutbay who’s played an active part in the Bahrain underground scene.

Over the years, headlining act Rodriguez Jr. has gradually honed his style into the dynamic and colourful sound that can now be regularly found on labels such as Mobilee, Anjunadeep, Systematic and Armada, and in musical remixes by Stephan

Bodzin, Booka Shade, Eli & Fur, Röyksopp, NTO, Timo Maas and others. Drawing inspiration for his live performances from the vintage synths at his Miami studio, Rodriguez Jr. is constantly taking opportunities and travelling across the globe, sharing his love for electronic music. His thrilling stage performances have led to him amassing a devoted, loyal fan base that creates some of the best live atmospheres at his shows. Rodriguez Jr. has performed at several worldrenowned clubs and festivals such as Fabric London, Space Miami, Mirage New York, Zamna Tulum, Lightning In A Bottle, Movement Detroit and CRSSD California. ✤
