Kia has announced the upcoming launch of its award-winning EV9 and EV6 models.

The all-electric models will debut across the MENA region towards the end of the year aligning with the brand’s ambitious ‘Roadmap to Carbon Neutrality by 2045’ and showcasing Kia’s commitment to sustainability by utilising sustainable materials in their production.

The arrival of the EV9 is scheduled for October followed by the EV6 in November. The new flagship SUV, the EV9, embodies Kia’s advanced engineering along with a with a spacious, premium interior, and ultra-fast charging compatibility.

The EV6 and EV9 previously received the competitive product carbon footprint certification from the Carbon Trust for their exceptional reduction of carbon emissions across the vehicle’s life cycle as well as prestigious performance and design awards. The highly anticipated all-electric models represent a key achievement for Kia, reflecting the brand's commitment to sustainability and carbon neutrality through the adoption of sustainable materials and advanced electric technology. By embracing sustainable biomaterials, Kia's EV9 and EV6 exemplify the brand's drive towards a greener future. Integrating these eco-friendly materials throughout the manufacturing process underscores Kia's dedication to reducing its carbon footprint and advocating for a more sustainable automotive industry.

New Service Centre Launched

MG and Mitsubishi Qatar are welcoming customers to a dedicated new facility in Al Wukair.

Represented in Qatar by Auto Class Cars the new service centre is part of the company’s expansion plans to meet growing customer demand. Auto Class Cars GM, Frank Zauner, said: “We are committed to ensuring the highest service standards for our customers. The new dedicated service centre will offer great value through excellent aftersales services and enhancing the ease of accessibility for all customers.”

Set in an area of 1,000sq/m, the facility is one of the biggest of its kind in Qatar, featuring six modern lifters and state-of-theart tech equipment and inspection devices, with high-quality services provided by professional and accredited experts. With a dedicated counter for spare parts, customers can seek the advice of professionals who will highlight the best services for maintaining the car in the best condition.

With easy access and a vast parking lot, the MG and Mitsubishi service centre will provide regular maintenance services and repair of mechanical and electrical after-faults including airconditioning, among others.

Opening hours are Saturday to Wednesday, 7am to 10pm, Thursdays from 7am to 5.30pm and Fridays from 2pm to 6pm. ✤
