Alongside the usual line up of supercars, adventure accessories and luxury gadgets at Big Boys Toys 2014 will be some fantastic marine leisure products as well.
B IG Boys Toys is already well known for being a wife’s ultimate nightmare. A millionaire’s playground packed with the sort of hardware that brings out the inner child in even the most serious man – a thousand things that every man wants, but nothing that any actually needs.
From ATVs to aerial drones, and supercars to superbikes, it’s the ultimate trove of toys for grown ups! The show provides a platform for exhibitors across each category to showcase the latest one-of-a-kind luxury and unique products including interactive offerings like simulation, archery, shooting, gaming and RC zones.
Meanwhile, the outdoor arena will allow the visitors to witness live demonstrations and entertaining water adventure experiences. The categories include drive, lifestyle, marine, aviation, digital, wellness, adventure, off-road, ride and fashion.
Excitement on the Water
And this year there are some superb waterbased products on display too. Among the products that a few lucky visitors will have a chance to experience are the Triton Submarines, the world’s deepest diving submersible equipped with a transparent pressure hull for a visually captivating underwater view.
o ther marine products to be showcased include the Seabreacher, a diving machine that can jump up to 90 degrees out of water; C-explorer 5 Submersible, the world’s first underwater limousine; Zapata Racing Flyboard, the ultimate gadget for freestyle stunts; Jetovator, a gadget that turns a jet ski into a flying machine, and Deep Trekker, an innovative remotely operated underwater camera.
If you want to take it to the beach, there’s a great range of ATVs on display too, including Rage Buggies, the ultimate offroad vehicles tested by World Rally and Formula o ne drivers.
“The Middle e ast is one of the 10 largest luxury goods markets with sales exceeding US$7.77 billion. o ut of these, Dubai accounts for 30 per cent of the regional luxury market according to Bain & Company’s 2013 report,” said Biju Jayaraaj, Chief e xecutive o fficer of Artaaj e vents. “With the region’s strong affinity to luxury brands, Big Boys Toys is best positioned to target affluent residents across the Middle e ast, particularly in Dubai, with an array of extraordinary, unique and luxurious products across various segments such as specialty cars and bikes, along with custombuilt off-road and underwater vehicles and gadgets.”
The must-attend event in the region, which will have exhibitors from various countries including the USA, e urope, Far e ast and the Middle e ast is set to draw over 40,000 visitors, which includes a majority of highnet-worth individuals.
‘Big Boys Toys’ new playground, Skydive Dubai is located at the base of The Palm Jumeirah, between Dubai Marina and Jumeirah Beach Residences, will also provide ease of access to visitors through ample parking spaces and proximity to public transport facilities such as Dubai’s new tram.
