from being just a BBQ themed event as it takes in all elements of the gastronomic spectrum and embraces all manner of cuisine.

Asking which of the BBQ staples stood out for us is a little like asking a parent to choose their favourite child. If pushed, then the juicy tenderloin steak and the BBQ ribs in a show stopping sauce were complemented by the sweet potato and marshmallow mash which is best described as a ‘guilty pleasure’ and are an absolute must! A particular highlight for my companion was situated on the terrace where a converted car had been employed as a grilling station, ‘hillbilly’ style! Lamb Chops are notoriously difficult to cook well. It’s being able to retain the flavour of the lamb whilst also keeping them moist and tender which takes real skill. Naturally Baharat’s were a phenomenal triumph. The inclusion of Wagyu steaks on the menu recently is beyond the icing on the cake or the cherry on top . It is pure extravagance and illustrates the commitment to diners and guests to provide them with the very best of the best.

The copper skillets which are used to present the freshly prepared meats, fish and seafood create a convivial approach towards the dining experience for guests who are, perhaps , wishing to share their choices with their companions. Every element seems to elevate it away from the typical, standard barbeque experience.

You will marvel at the sumptuous dessert fountain with cascading waves of glossy chocolate which showcase morsels, either healthy or naughty depending upon the preference of the diners. Delicious, delicately crafted pastries in every colour of the spectrum, ranging from perfectly geometric mousse topped tarts to glass- like glazed bombes and unctuous cheesecakes were presented alongside decadent fruit platters. The mousses were perfectly balanced and just indulgent enough to end such a varied, rich and tantalisingly tasty culinary cook out. The valet parking was ideally situated to allow me to roll into my car with a full stomach and an even heavier heart that my experience has came to an end… until next week!
