Editor’s Letter

And in the blink of an eye, 2022 is ending. After the pandemic, we were eager for a 'normal' year, and I guess 2022 was a pretty good one, with the world returning to normality. So we must celebrate! We bring an array of party-ready looks, beauty and Christmas and New Year's dining offers to end the year in grand style. The biggest event dedicated to jewels and watches in Bahrain, Jewellery Arabia, happened at the end of last month. It celebrated 30 years of luxury and left us in a state of awe with the beautiful collections presented. We bring some of the most incredible ones to share with you.

We also enjoyed not one but two beauty reviews. We headed to Heavenly Spa by Westin at The Westin City Centre Bahrain for their sugar scrub and Aspire signature massage, and we were treated to a holidaythemed manicure and party hairstyle at Dessange Paris Bahrain. These are fantastic treatments and a great way to start the New Year feeling pretty and relaxed. Inspired by the shimmering accents that the holiday season brings, we guide you on adding golden elements to your home décor. And if you plan to go away this winter, we explore the uniqueness that Japan has to offer.

We had a memorable culinary experience at La Table Krug by Y at The Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain and bring all the details to you. An evening where we discovered delectable flavours and had discussions about art and food in the company of the iconic Chef Yann Bernard Lejard. In our last test drive of the year, we got behind the wheel of the new Infiniti QX60. We can only say that we close the year with a golden key!
