Editor’s Letter

The month of love is upon us, and even if you are not a romantic person (I am undoubtedly faulty in this area), it is impossible to obliviate Valentine’s Day. Shops and restaurants get decorated with hearts and special offers are everywhere. We bring a selection of love-inspired pages, from jewellery collections and fashion pieces to places to dine with your significant other and the importance of non-romantic love in our lives. This month, we have a special collaboration with Cartier to present the brand’s Beautés Du Monde High Jewellery collection – starring the gorgeous Iranian-French actress Golshifteh Farahani. The pieces are an ode to beauty and impeccable craftsmanship.

The Doha Jewellery & Watches Exhibition 2023 is happening this month, bringing the most reputable international brands and regional names under the same roof to celebrate the jewellery and watches universe. We selected some fascinating collections from some of the biggest names in the field to share with you. Our OHLALA Spa & Wellness Awards Qatar 2022 announced its winners and we celebrated them at a stylish party at Nammos Qatar. You will find in this issue the complete winners’ list and coverage of the exciting event.

The Homes section is all about bathroom trends, but if you are looking to get away from yours, we bring a glimpse of Fairmont Doha, check it out for an ultimate staycation.
