St. Helier is our epicentre of retail, with everything from department stores to quirky independents. However, If you fancy a drive around the island, there are also a few destinations to consider along your route for some retail therapy.
1. The Trading Point

Situated in the heart of Jersey, The Trading Point is a creative hub of local businesses showcasing a wide range of beautiful French and local artisan product inside a wonderful historic building. Find handmade ceramics, original art, bespoke linen homeware, organic skincare ranges, home fragrances, baskets and local food produce.
2. Garden (&more) Centres
We have several great garden centres that offer a great deal more than items for the garden. St. Peter And Le Quesne’s all feature expansive giftware areas whilst Ransoms in the east extends even further into furniture and homeware. You could also try The Hidden Garden. Unlike the UK, our garden centres aren’t open on Sundays unfortunately.

3. Harbourside Art
If you’ve visited Jersey before, you may have visited The Harbour Gallery in St Aubin. The charity-based space that promotes local artists’ work and Genuine Jersey products has relocated to 16 Commercial Buildings in St Helier, just over the road from Weighbridge square, alongside Jane James Ceramics’ Merchant’s House at number 20.
4. Jewellery Experiences
Both Catherine Best and Jersey Pearl are retail stores but visitor destinations in their own right, offering an emersion in their respective worlds of jewellery creation and design.
5. Farm Shops
With a strong farming heritage, it’s unsurprsing that we have a strong game when it comes to Farm shops. Sample our local produce and stock your fridge if you’re self-catering. Rondels offer a range of Cook meals, great if you’re here with the family and need to serve good food fast.
6. Sustainable Shopping
Jersey’s charity shops are treasure troves of pre-loved homewares, clothes and furniture. Discover vast warehouses, ripe for rummaging, in Jersey’s countryside at the likes of Durrell, Acorn and Jersey Hospice. Sustainable shopping at its most satisfying.
