Jersey Zoo

Jersey Zoo is home to over 1,000 wild animals. Visit the zoo to see them scampering, jumping, swinging and flying through 32 acres of stunning parkland. Founded 60 years ago by famous writer and conservationist Gerald Durrell, Jersey

Zoo is sure to provide a really wild day out. Home to some of the world’s rarest animals, the zoo also recently opened a spectacular butterfly and tortoise house which provides the perfect tropical spot for when the weather takes a turn for the worse. The new Wild Wood indoor play is ideal for little monkeys to let off steam on a rainy day.

On the boundary separating the parishes of St. Peter and St. Mary.

St. Peter’s Windmill, home to award winning jewellery designer Catherine Best, was the last surviving working tower mill in Jersey.

This beautiful historic landmark dates back to 1837 and is built from Jersey granite. The weighbridge and millers office where grain used to be delivered to the windmill for milling also survived and has become a handy site for buses to stop. The Windmill is part of a complex that includes a jewellery manufacturing workshop, the Catherine Best jewellery showroom.
