"Stories from The Peep Diaries"

On October 19th, the Department of English & Film Studies welcomes writer and cultural critic Hal Niedzviecki for a discussion entitled "Stories from The Peep Diaries: How We're Learning to Love Watching Ourselves and Our Neighbors." The evening will include a panel discussion with Arts professors Kevin Haggerty (Sociology/Criminology), Cecily Devereux (English & Film Studies) and Liz Czach (English & Film Studies).

Haydn: The Creation In 2009, the music community around the world is commemorating the 200th anniversary of Austrian composer Joseph Haydn's death. On November 5th, join the University of Alberta Augustana Choir, Concert Choir and Madrigal Singers, with the University Symphony Orchestra, for a performance of The Creation (sung in German). Further details are available on the Department of Music website.
