LEFKAS TRAIL RUN 2016 The Association of Professional and Environmental Protection Nikiana with Athletic Lefkada Association "Filandros" jointly organized in collaboration with the Municipality of Lefkada Region Ionian Islands under the auspices of the Greek Federation of Associations of People Mass Sports and Yperapostaseon (EOSLMA-Y) and reopen the mountain race lefkas Trail Run 2016 which includes routes 23km, 5km 600m adults and children. Date: Sunday, October 9, 2016. Starting point - finish: Port Nikiana Lefkada. Start Time: 23 km: 09: 00p.m., Race 5km: 09: 15pm Game 600 10: 00pm Route Race: The length of the route will be 5 and 23 km in asphalt paths and rural roads. The route will pass through traditional villages, historical sites and old monasteries. • The route of the 23 km runners will move at an altitude of 1-660 meters, and the total positive altitude is about 1300 meters. • The track runners of 5 km will operate at an altitude of 1 to 150m, and the total positive height is approximately 150m. • The runners of 600m path will move into paved road level. To be considered valid record should the proof of the deposit to be sent electronically to the e-mail lefkastrailrun@gmail.com. Also the deposit slip must be presented upon receipt of the number of participation. For a valid participation should every sportsman and sportswoman be declared until Monday 03/10/2016. Those who come race day without previous involvement or state beyond the enrollment expiration date will not get number and will not be listed in the results. Participation fee: 23 km: 20 €. Includes electronic timing, technical T-Shirt, a commemorative medal for those who finish within the time limit, the race catering, lunch at the finish of each athlete of 23km. 5 km: 5 € includes electronic timing, commemorative medal for those who finish, race catering, lunch at the finish of each athlete of 5km.
600: 3 â‚Ź Including electronic timing, commemorative medal for those who finish. Only for kids race can be paid the participation fee to the Secretariat of the race Saturday 10/08/2016, provided participants have been written until Monday 10/03/2016. Profits from childhood game of 600 meters will be given to charity. Technical T-Shirt: All runners of 23 km will be a technical T-Shirt, which is included in the price of 20 euros. For runners of 5 km is optional option when registering, and can be obtained with an additional fee of 10 euros. Transport: From Athens and Thessaloniki in the existing bus routes to Lefkada already registered runners have a 50% discount which will ensure the day of receipt of the ticket from 06.10.2015 and after showing their identity card. It is advised those interested to make a reservation in advance at the local bus agencies. Accommodation: Organization has managed to get a discount of accommodation and hotels in the area to serve the road and meeting the public. Also for clubs over 25 people, who will go to their own bus, there are special prices for which the tour operator must come in contact as soon as the organization so that the reservation due to limited number of beds to be on time. Awards: Will be awarded the first 3 men and first 3 women of the general classification and 2 matches. Also in the race 23 km. Will be awarded the first 3 of each category, as listed below. The first 3 men and first 3 women of the general classification will not receive awards in age categories. MEN

4. 60+ years Categories 23 km: Class will be established if it involves at least 6 athletes. Otherwise the category will merge to the next, or the previous case of the latter. Athletes Security: The athletes participating and secured at their own risk and security burden themselves. Exclusion time: Athletes who will reach the "Kolyvata" station (about the 8th km) after 2 hours from the start (based on the timer of the event) will be excluded from the continuation of the struggle.
Sports equipment: Athletes as long as you wish can be equipped with ydrodocheio - liquid disposed in plastic glass, mobile phone and waterproof jacket itself as the weather is rainy. In case of extreme weather events organizers Associations can modify the routes or to cancel or postpone racing for the safety of athletes. Generally: Competition numbers will be given at the start before the race 07: 00-08: 00pm and the day before the Games from 5-9mm in Brown "Litrouvio" in the port of Nikiana.
