4. With the increased emphasis on green transportation, will scooters become a more important mode of transportation in the future?
really one of our favorite things to watch. When kids and adults hop on a Micro for the first time, they literally say “Oh wow,” or even “Whee!” Families being able to participate together in riding scooters is another fun aspect.
2. What goes into creating the perfect scooter, no matter the age range?
In a single word: quality. We know that the adults who use their scooters for commuting to work on city sidewalks in all weather conditions need a reliable scooter that provides a smooth ride and is tough enough to stand up to everyday use.
3. How have scooters evolved over time?
It’s remarkable to look back at the earliest designs and the evolution over the years, to see how Micro’s Swiss innovation helped elevate scooters from toys to transport, even for young kids. By making them more smooth-gliding and stable, the scooters could be ridden further and longer.

We definitely see interest in scooters as transport continuing to grow as more people look for ways to lessen their impact on the environment.
5. If you could design any accessory for a scooter, what would it be?
Well, it’s a long list! We are coming out with a “Smart Egg” which will allow kids to track how many miles they ride, and we are always looking for the perfect-size basket and water bottle. Otherwise, we have everything from carry-straps to 3D helmets to lights and bells, seats for stuffed animals and scooter-heads (dinosaurs and unicorns, for example) – but we are always looking for more.
6. Why do Micro Kickboard’s products belong in specialty toy stores?
