LOCAL GOVERNMENT ELECTIONS SATURDAY 4 DECEMBER 2021 On Saturday 4 December Fairfield City Council will be holding its Local Government Elections.
There is no absentee voting at Local Government Elections. Voting is compulsory and fines apply if you do not vote.
Due to the impact of COVID-19 and increasing demand for pre-polling, Council has decreased the number of polling places on Election Day and increased the number of pre-poll locations. These changes have been made so that all Fairfield City residents get an opportunity to vote at a time and place most convenient to them and to ensure their vote counts.
If you are unable to vote on Election Day, you can vote early by applying for a Postal Vote (prior to 5pm, Monday 29 November 2021) by ringing 9642 0399. Postal voting opens on Monday 25 October 2021. Alternatively, if you would like to vote by pre-poll you can attend any of the locations overleaf from Monday 22 November to Friday 3 December 2021 (excluding Sunday 28 November 2021).
