The Fairfield Prep Ski Team had an exceptional season this year. The varsity team finished 66-0 in the regular season, claimed the Class L Title for the 10th consecutive year and won the State Open Championship, the first since 2018 and the 16th in the program's storied history. The team's success was primarily attributed to outstanding performances from its leaders, Captain Brice Muller ’23, Captain Carter Goodrich ’23, and Drew Cesaratto ’24 who were all selected as First-Team All-State. Aidan Clarke ’24 and Brady Cesaratto ’26 were selected as SecondTeam All-State. The rest of the varsity lineup consisted of a mix of veterans such as Matthew Mazza ’23 and Evan Scheffler ’25, and newcomers to the varsity lineup such as Jake Small ’23, Palmer Firmender ’24 and Nick Hahn ’25. When any teammate faltered, these guys stepped up by laying down fast times throughout the season.
