RASTER VS. VECTOR There are two main types of image files: raster and vector. A raster graphic is an image made of hundreds of tiny squares of colour information, referred to as either pixels or dots. Think of a photograph. A vector graphic uses math to draw shapes using points, lines, and curves. Think of a font or logo. Because vector artwork uses magical math, these images can be scaled to any size without affecting the quality of the image. We need your artwork in vector format to ensure a quality print.

ARTWORK SUBMISSION Your artwork must be submitted as an .ai or .eps file in vector format with all text converted to outlines. If you don’t have vector artwork, we’ve got your back. We can help you convert your files to vector format and you’ll get to keep the file so that you have it on hand for the next time someone asks.

PANTONE MATCHING SYSTEM The PANTONEÂŽ Matching System (PMS) is the most widely used colour matching system. The accuracy of colour is critical in design, so we use this standardized key to guide colour selection when printing your artwork. Please remember to indicate what your pantone colours are when submitting your artwork to ensure we stay on brand.

Don't have a PMS Colour? Don’t worry, we will use our colour bridge system to match your colour to the closest pantone possible.
