… WINDOWS WITH A FUTURE The new generation preSelect® top hung and pivot windows have been designed for people who value functionality and innovative solutions. These windows offer two distinct means of opening the sash. It can be used as either a top hung or centre pivot window. The top hung function allows even a tall person to freely approach the opened window and enjoy an unobstructed view outside. In addition, it contributes to increasing storage space in the room. The top hung function enables the sash to be opened in any position from 0° to 35°. The pivot function enables the sash to be rotated through 180° and is used when cleaning the outer pane or installing the awning blind.
Ease of use The window is operated using the handle situated in the lower part of the sash. Changing from top hung to centre pivot operation is simply achieved by use of a preSelect® sliding switch located in the side part of the frame. This activates a unique system of hardware while ensuring that both functions remain independent of each other. Healthy microclimate and thermal energy savings The FPP-V preSelect® window is equipped with the V40P automatic air inlet which provides an optimum amount of fresh air into the room ensuring a healthy microclimate in the attic and thermal energy savings resulting in lower heating bills. The window can be equipped with different glazing units: the highly energy efficient, anti-burglary and sound reducing.

Increased durability The application of warm TGI spacer and additional seal in the glazing profile increase the durability of windows. This spacer minimizes condensation of water vapour on the edges of glass, while the seal protects against penetration of water from melting snow to the interior. In addition, vacuum impregnation and durable lacquer coating used in FAKRO windows provide excellent protection of the window wooden elements. Safety and Anti-burglary Reinforcement Windows are equipped with the pioneering topSafe system of structure reinforcement. This system significantly improves the resistance to break-in attempts and protects against the sash opening if inadvertently stepped on.
