Hello! This October holiday, Falkirk Community Trust has a massive range of activities for the kids to get involved in. You can join our libraries for some adventurous storytimes and creative craft sessions, head to the ski slope for some coaching or tubing, catch a film the Hippodrome, and join our sports team for some parkour, rugby, streetdance, tennis and more! Customer Statement

All coaches and volunteers are disclosure checked. Parents must be responsible for the safe arrival and collection of their children. Please ensure your child brings any medication they need and inform the coordinator. Photographs may be taken for promotional purposes – if you have any objections please inform us during time of booking.

Cancellation Policy

No refunds – credit notes only for any cancellations. If an activity is cancelled for any reason, where possible an alternative will be offered. If there is no suitable alternative then a credit note will be given. Credit notes will be redeemable against future holiday programmes and any sports development classes.

How to Book:

To book any of the sporting activities please call the booking line on 01324 590940. Lines are open 9am – 7pm, Monday to Friday. A booking can be made in person: Suite 1A (first floor), Falkirk Community Stadium, 4 Stadium Way, Falkirk, FK2 9EE. Payment is due at time of booking. All bookings will be dealt with on a first come, first served basis up to the maximum number for each activity. Receipts for all bookings will be emailed within 48 hours – a paper copy will only be sent out on request.

Teacher Training Courses

Pupils will learn a range of swimming skills during the course, to help swimming teachers through qualification. The course is overseen by Qualified Scottish SwimmingTutor. Please state level at time of booking: Beginner = less than 5m. Improver = 1-25m. Developer = 25m+

Rock Climbing/Abseil (Ages 9+)

Rock climbing at a local crag or an indoor centre if the weather isn’t playing. Both beginners and mountaineering experts can join us and show us high you can climb.

Tuesday

Loch trip – Kayaking (Ages 9+)

Our loch based kayaking activity is a great way to explore some stunning areas. Not only will you learn new skills, you’re guaranteed to have a ridiculous amount of fun, so ‘mon join us.

Wednesday

Blokarting (Ages 9+)

Sailing, but on land! Powered by the wind and inches above the ground, this is a fantastic experience you won’t be quick to forget. We really need the wind for this one so if the wind isn’t a blowing we’ll create another adventure.

Mountain Bike (Ages 9+)

Mountain biking on a single track terrain. Again, this course is suitable for both beginners and experts. An adventure on a bike is bound to be fun.

Friday

Coasteering (Ages 9+)

Climb, jump and swim along a beautiful stretch of coast on this action packed adventure. You don’t need to be a strong swimmer to enjoy this activity and all jumps are optional.


The Helix Activities Head along to The Helix during the holidays and join us for some adventures either in the lagoon or on the bikes, exploring the different routes to The Helix.

Callendar House Monday – Saturday 10am-5pm | FREE Our five star rated Historic House offers something for a day out for the whole family this October and is situated in the beautiful park and woodland of Callendar Park. The Museum and Parkland are now even more exciting for children with the addition of our Museum Activity Backpacks for 5-12 year olds, packed with self-led fun-filled activities both inside and outside the House. Try “Browsing with the Bairns” and “John Muir: Explorer!” now. The Georgian Kitchen will also be open daily where you can meet Cook, listen to stories of life below stairs and sample some period recipes. And to round off a visit our Tearoom has now introduced a new children’s menu, making it an ideal stop off for a light bite or hearty lunch.
