Schematic ideation and space shaping inspiration was taken from numerous natural elements. The lotus flower was my inspiration for the custom pendant lighting that is shown throughout the space. Native Indonesian jewelry is very geometric and curvilinear in shape and allowed for the style of the booths. Creating unique and playful booth seating not only opens up the space of the plan and allows for proper spacing for ADA regulations, it also lets the natural beach airy and free element into the space as well.

CIAL DESIGN

This pediatricians office was designed with the rainforest at heart. The green color palate is gentle and soothing to all that ender. Evidence based design notes that color can be seen in denser formats to children with disabilities, especially children with autism. Bold colors can cause irritability and anxiety, and to a child already nervous about coming to the doctor, color was the last thing parents needed to worry about. Our feature focus is our waiting area, which has images of the rainforest painted on them. Animals that are included have learning features attached to them to help create a fun atmosphere. We divided the entire office into two sections; One half for the public and one half for internal use. Natural light is taken into full consideration to not only provide a sense of well being and functionability, but to also help save on electrical costs. Glass wall partions are used to help bring in light to the hallways as well as interior rooms. Low VOC paints as well as solor powered fixtures help drive sustainability and lower our personal carbon footprint. Our exterior features sustainable materials to help maintain water and Heat Island Effect. Overall the building will be the innovation of the surrounding area and really inspire those who enter. We want to inspire people to take the steps to improve the quality of life for future generations.

The use of Rainforest Alliance certified products are used for our walls and ceiling materials. The use of these products help conserve wildlife, safeguard soils and waterways, and help create a longlasting livilihood for sustainability.

Choosing a chair that is designed towards ergonomics helps keep the users back aligned maintainting a good posture to stay alert and relxed.

This Book is dedicated to my children Brylee and Kolton. My reason for doing what I do. My newfound inspiration. Without them life would seem profoundly dull. You never know the meaning of true love until you look into the eyes of your children for the very first time. Thank you for being the sweet, amazing, funny, and crazy, wild kids that you are. Everyday you make me laugh until tears come to my eyes. I love watching you grow and learn. I also want to thank my late grandfather, Desmond, for all that he taught me. It is because of him I am who I am, along side my amazing mother Patricia. It is by the guidence of these two amazing people I have grown to know hard work and dedication pays off.
