Registration is in the Exchange Building, it opens two hours before the start of your ceremony.

Collect your hat, robe and hood from the Exchange Building.

The pre-ceremony area is in the Heart Space, street food and refreshments are available.

Portrait photography can be done at any point during the day, your family can join you in these photos.
•
Announcements are made when it’s time to head to the Hall and take your seat for the ceremony.
•
The ceremony is streamed live to the Upper Stannary and the Chapel Lecture Theatre for guests that don’t have a ticket.
•
Ceremony Hall doors open one hour before the start of the ceremony, do take your seat early.
•
Your class photo is taken in front of Tremough House. You will be led there after the ceremony.
•
The post-ceremony reception is held in the Italian Gardens, no ticket is required and refreshments are available.

Remember your photo ID, you’ll need it to collect your tickets.
To enjoy the whole experience fully, arrive at least two hours prior to the ceremony start time.
Graduation celebrations are spread across campus, test out your shoes before the day.
You may want to bring safety pins and hair grips to secure your robe and hat.
Hall doors open one hour before each ceremony, they close 15 minutes before the scheduled start.

Portrait photography is available before and after your ceremony, throughout the day.
Leave your personal belongings with your guests or in the cloakroom at the registration desk.
Your ceremony will last one hour, if you need to leave the Hall mid-ceremony you may not be allowed back in.
With the exception of guide dogs, dogs are not allowed on campus during graduation week.
Any graduand or guest behaving in such a way as to compromise the enjoyment of others will be asked to leave the event.
There are three different types of official photography. The portrait, the handshake with Dawn French, and the year group photo with your academics.

The new Falmouth University merchandise range is being launched at Graduation 2018.
•
Dawn’s gown was designed and made by students from the Fashion and Textiles Institute.
•
Those that don’t attend Graduation are awarded their degree in absentia.
•
The ceremony is opened with a Cornish Proclamation read by the Cornish Society.
•
The University’s official mace was designed by two Sustainable Product Design alumni.
•
Your ticket includes a complimentary ice cream, photo booth snaps and carousel ride for you and your guests.
•
The magic mirror photo booth can automatically upload to social media.
I didn’t get all the guest tickets I wanted? Guests without a ticket are welcome to join you for the celebrations, they can enjoy the ceremony via the live stream in the Upper Stannary and Chapel Lecture Theatre. Am I eligible to attend Graduation? If you have any questions regarding your eligibility to graduate, please contact Student Administration. Do I have to wear the hat, robe, and hood? The hat, robe and hood are a requirement of the University and cannot be substituted. Financial support is available for students who find the cost prohibitive. Will I be able to buy refreshments on the day? A selection of food and drink will be available to buy on the day, from prosecco to pasties, cream teas to cocktails. Will I have to pay for parking on campus? Parking is free on campus during Graduation week. What if I can no longer attend my Graduation? Please tell the Graduation Team so that your seats can be given to other graduates and their families.
