Welcome to Falmouth The essentials Explore our campuses Advice and support Discover Falmouth Getting around Maps Next steps

WELCOME Falmouth is an incredible place to study. It’s a place where collaboration, ideas, innovation and change makers are celebrated. With a focus on the future, we’re exploring the potential of new technology and entrepreneurship, we’re pushing boundaries and capitalising on the power of creativity. Our approach means that students are doing it for real from the moment they arrive on campus; getting the skills they need in order to be a part of the creative economy after graduation. All of our courses are closely aligned with industry, so students tackle live briefs, work in professional-standard facilities and are taught by academics who are experts in their field.

Of course, university is more than just an academic experience. It’s also where you meet friends for life, find new passions and grow as an individual. Falmouth’s vibrant, inclusive community is the foundation of student life. Likeminded people can find their tribe and thrive here. Based in one of the most beautiful parts of the country, with a social scene to match much bigger destinations, it’s an amazing, inspiring place to live and study. We hope you enjoy seeing some of what Falmouth has to offer here today.

THE ESSENTIALS

Arrive and register On Penryn Campus, head to the Sports Hall, or if you’re starting at Falmouth Campus, your first stop should be the Fox Café. Both locations will be clearly signposted on the day. You’ll be met by the Events Team and our fantastic Student Ambassadors who will register your arrival.

Departmental introduction One of our departments will be your academic home, so you’ll want to know all about it. Your Director will start the day with a short talk, giving an overview of the departmental facilities, expertise and opportunities, before you’re then taken to meet the academic team to find out more about your chosen course. Please note that some talks might be restricted to future students only, due to limited space. After a course talk you’ll have the opportunity to look around the department and see some of our world-class facilities for yourself.

Student life and student finance talks University life is about much more than your academic experience and there’s lot’s to think about when planning your future studies. Find out more at either of the lunchtime talks.
