Through Mind Mapping, we learned that most people found Glidden’s advertising to be traditional and plain which tells us that the brand does not stand out in the paint category. We also discovered that despite peoples negative views toward Walmart’s customer service they still shop there because it is inexpensive and convenient. We also found that people believe that painting and DIY projects can be transforming and create positive change but they associate painting and DIY projects with more negative words like “messy” and “timeconsuming” than positive. 04
