The EP is filled with raw and honest songs that tackle mental and physical health, as well as some catchy pop tunes that explore heartbreaks. Lead single and EP opener Insomnia is a beautifully crafted, heart-wrenching ballad, with Vallier longing for sleep and for peace of mind after the end of a deep relationship.

The recent single Young Blood, which has been played byMollieKingatBBCRadio1onherFuturePopshow,is a synth-driven serenade about the enduring power of a first love, built around stark, poetic verses and a soaring chorus.

"Ihavebeenwritingmybeststuffoverthelastfewyears and had so long to process my thoughts and feelings duringlockdown,”Valliersaysaboutthewritingprocess.

“A lot changed, I got diagnosed with CFS/ME which as an ex footballer was hard to process, had a tough breakup and couldn’t leave my house to take my mind off it. So I wrote about all sorts to help process these feelings, it’s more of a collection of songs I love than a conceptual album, but I hope everyone will have somethingtheycanrelatetofromthesongs."

After Vallier returned from a hiatus this year, for his return single 'Insomnia', he donated all Bandcamp proceeds to Action For M.E. - a charity in the UK supportingpeoplewithM.E.
