Award winning Rusalka - teaching local babies for fifteen years!

Rusalka offers a great start in swimming tuition for your baby and toddler. They first opened their swim school in 2005 and they now operate two of their own pools, six days a week, with free adjacent on site parking. Both pools are equipped with state of the art automatic heating systems which maintain the water temperature at 31C and the air temperature at 32C at all the times.

In the past fifteen years they have taught thousands of babies and children to swim, picking up several national awards along the way, including Best UK Swimming Teacher and ASA Centre of Excellence status. Rusalka takes babies from 3 months old and there are never more than 5 children in a class at any one time. Children can achieve various ASA level Duckling badges and certificates as they progress.

Classes are fun, engaging, sensory, interactive and designed to meet your child’s developmental needs. From 3 months, babies attend Rock'n'Roll which has an emphasis on bonding through gentle movement, singing, and relaxing songs. From 12 months, children join Heigh-Ho with more up-tempo music and encouragement to play their own instruments. Pre-schoolers from 2 years of age will be excited about our Jiggety-Jig classes, which supports their sense of rhythm, confidence in music playing and concentration.
