WHAT IS KIMCHI
In Korean cuisine, kimchi is called vegetables that are fermented by lactic acid. And also the way of this preparation is called kimchia traditional way of preservation. The important thing is: Kimchi is simply part of every menu in Korea.
HOW DO WE MAKE KIMCHI
The vegetables are mixed with a paste. We make the paste from typical Korean ingredients - but the exact recipe remains secret. Then we leave the vegetables with the paste for about 12 hours so that everything can steep well. This creates the incomparable taste of kimchi.
WHY IS KIMCHI HEALTHY
Kimchi is healthy thanks to fermentation: the lactic acid bacteria ensure active digestion and a healthy microflora in the intestine. In addition, thanks to the method of preparation, there are many nutrients and vitamins in the kimchi - an optimal, healthy food source
