Merry Christmas in July!
Santa & Snow coming this Saturday There’s a snow storm brewing and it’s due to hit the Alaska Mining Co. at 1030 this Saturday (July 21) for the annual Christmas in July Celebration. And along with the snow, Santa Claus will be on hand to pose for pictures and take early wish lists from the children, parents and Soldiers at Camp Humphreys. Snow in the middle of July may sound like an impossibility, but as anyone who lives in Korea knows, the summer weather can be crazy. And Alaska Mining Co. manager Walt Cade is so confident that it’s going to snow that he has promised that Saturday’s Breakfast Buffet will be free if white flakes don’t fall. Meanwhile, Santa will be set up near the fireplace and will pose for individual, group and Family photos free of charge. Those photos will be put on the Marketing Facebook page for easy retrieval by parents. Festivities are scheduled for 1030-1300, so don’t be late. And wear your winter scarf.
