She began her career at USAG-Humphreys three years ago as an entry level program assistant and leaves with her Child Development Associate credential. School Age Services School Quest: Helping Military Families Find Schools When it comes time for a military family to PCS (Permanent Change of Station) they are met with many challenges. At the top of the list for many families is finding the right school. What school districts are in this area? Will they be able to meet my child’s needs? What kind of programs exist and who can I contact to get more information? Enter School Quest. This safe, secure online resource was designed for military families, by the Military Children Education Coalition, to help them make decisions on future schools. Families must join the site in order to have complete access to the school information, and will be asked to answer basic questions. Based on the answers they provide, School Quest will then present, School-Age Services (SAS) is at no cost, meaningful facts, resources and transition advice about the schools that pertain to them.

This month the Middle School Teens are traveling to one of Korea’s largest shopping districts, and then joining the Yongsan youth for an all night lock-in. Dongdaemun Market is located next to its namesake, the Great East Gate, and has 26 shopping malls with over 30,000 shops from over 50,000 manufacturers. The teens will explore ten blocks of market area offering silks, clothes, shoes,sporting goods, electronics, office supplies, toys and more! After a day of shopping they will join the Yongsan youth for a barbeque,fun and games. The bus departs from Humphreys Youth Services building at 1000 Friday and returns the next morning at approximately 1000. Sign up at the Teen Center before the April 7 deadline. Space is limited.
