Youth Sports

Youth Running Club:

Two of our original volunteer coaches from the Humphreys Road Runners, Nathan and Sarah Stahl, will be moving away from the community this summer. Youth Sports and the Humphreys Road Runners Youth Running Club need your help. We are seeking volunteers to help facilitate running club workouts. Interested participants should contact Youth Sports at 753-5601. The Humphreys Road Runners will meet 1700-1800 on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Super Gym during the month of March. Children and youth 8 years old and up are encouraged to participate. Children under 8 may participate, but parent participation is required too. Registration is free for this year-long fitness program. You can sign-up for the club at one of the training sessions or visit the Youth Sports Office (BLDG #111).

Baseball/Softball/T-ball: Youth Sports is still seeking volunteers for head coaching and assistant coaching positions for baseball, girls slow pitch softball, and t-ball. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Youth Sports at 753-5601.

Indoor Soccer:

Registration for Spring Youth Indoor Soccer Camp will take place 1-30 March. Register at the Parent Central Office (BLDG #570). For registration information contact Parent Central at 753-3413. Registration will be open to boys and girls ages 10 and above (10 to 18 years old). The camp will consist of clinics, practices and games and will start after Spring Break and run through the beginning of June. The camp is $30. For information about the Youth Soccer Camp, contact Youth Sports at 753-5601. Youth Sports is also looking for volunteers to help with Indoor Soccer Camp. 10


Youth Center MONEY MATTERS

Money Matters is a program that was designed by Boys and Girls of America to help youth grades 6-12 how to manage their finances. The class will be designed around our youth to make them better equipped to handle money and to show them how to successfully save and make long/short term financial goals.
